With all of the blizzard posts regarding classic hardcore and botting etc, it would be absolutely wild to imagine that they aren’t aware of the hundreds of posts in this forum all the time regarding people who didn’t play the game at time when the cloning service was retired (and characters left on era were force moved to wrath)
would be nice if we could see an actual blue post comment or thread just addressing this once and for all, can’t be that hard thx
I gotta say, the thing that annoys me the most about blizzard is they just ignore the community. Like it would take 10 minutes for someone at blizz to say hey, you, customer service guy, go on the wow classic forum and make a post about X so everyone isnt stuck in limbo forever wondering if its gonna happen or not.
Much as I’d be happy with it being available again; they were clear and transparent for months (on Battle.net news and forums) that clone service was temporary. So there is no need for them to come and tell you what they’ve already told you.
I dont know man… all im guessing now tho… is that since they are willing to reset ranking, i doubt they will give you a copy of ur character back then, because the timeframe those chars been stored had a certain rank… each day passing it seems to be all and all more and more far fetched to happen, UNLESS(with a grain of salt) this rank reset has something to do with the clone service just coming but all chars have to start from 0, so they get ur char/progression/gear back but not the rank, lets hope thats the case, yet again doubt, not to mention current community for some reason hate the idea of real classic community of 2019 come back to the game… dont ask why… they just dont want to, and i think also blizzard will have to calculate the game quits if they do along to the how many subs will this get em…
