it is 30 for 1 and 60 for 3 and 95 for 6 faction changes
Depends on the service but e.g. I race change A LOT and that really adds up.

It is an energy crisis and a recession.
is literally what Bobby Kotick have to struggle with too when he orders his new yacht fleet.
Well depends how you look at IT , in which country you live etc.
If you have decent job and make liek 30-40 euro / h then ofc boost is worth it as leveling still takes liek 12+ hours .
Of you live in western eu then indeed IT may be notvworth IT if you have bad job and make like 5-6 euro per hour.
And ye life is not fair. Shoudl have learned in School to land a good job and becl able to afford boosts without 2nd thought.
So dont spend IT if its not worth in your eyes ?
And ye 30 euro is nothing if you have good job .if you have bad / job / live in poor country ? Sure IT may look liek a lot of money . Life is harsh .
I look at IT just like I look at any other department. They can be obnoxious or lifesavers, depending on the company. Most likely pretty nerdy but chill peeps.
Your spelling left the chat and you talk about schools? Okie dokie.
I canât with that IT Iâm sorry but it undermines anything youâre trying to say, not that youâre saying much.
Well, it is worth it for me if I want it, but it doesnât mean I canât consider it overpriced for what it is. It feels significantly worse than buying a skin or hero in another game.
Boost only puts you at 50 normally so you still only have to level to 60, next expansion it will be no different, its only 60 now because of next expansion, but i agree its overpriced, honestly it should not even exist anymore except for expansion pack goodie for 1 character.
âFull item level 300 gearâ Nah, 220 will do, can get the catch up gear in pre-patch soon enough. My characters at most are 250 with one at 270. If I could buy a boost and get better gear than I earned last time I played, even with just WQ content, Iâd feel pretty annoyed. I canât go buying 300ilvl gear on any other alt, but I can buy 220 so thatâs why itâs ok for me.
â4x32 slot bagsâ 30 would be fine too. Tbh bags really arenât expensive though. But sure, I pay money, gimme.
â310% flying speed trainingâ Yes, obviously. That this isnât a thing is ridiculous.
â2x profession of choice cappedâ well they used to do this but honestly there is 0 point any more since the rework. If it was still âYou have to get to level 900 blacksmithing to do Dragonflight blacksmithingâ then yes.
âAll maps explored etcâ You can do this already with heirloom maps.
âOld content catch upâ A lot of this is account bound related - I think they should make it so if you unlocked BoP questline once, donât have to do that again. Everything else is account bound anyway.
Again, expansionâs flight unlocking is all account bound and apart from BfA I believe the unlock has even been removed.
Disagree with unlocking garrison and class hall because what if you want to go do the content again? Thatâs just stopped now? Maybe introduce a quick skip to unlocking them.
âCapped rep/bonusâ I would love account bound reputation tbh. Iâve done it once, I do not need to eeeeeeeeeeever do it again, at the very least give me the bonus back like in MoP. That should just be every alt ever, though, not just boosts.
If DF wasnât around the corner I would have wanted a lot of the systems unlocked in SL for making legendaries and such. You can skip to ZM rn but you still have to do that stupid questline to get legendaries, when really you should be able to skip and make them from the get go. However, they are useless in 6 weeks, so meh. Also, this would have all been for alts.
So tldr;
Boosting seems rather pointless and not worth the money when most of the things listed here could be achieved through account-bound changes. It is at best, a way to skip levelling for the quadrillionth time.
There has only been one boosted char I ever stuck to and she is right here <â
No more boosts for me!
they wonât do that bobby the devil is far to greedy for that its a huge part of their income thinking blizz woud remove tokens is like thinking world peace will happen
The only real crime I see here is that the leveling experience is hot garbage which drives people towards it
if it wasnât I wouldnât care if they upped it to 600
Whales suffering from their own creation? yeah cool
youâre not paying for items, youâre paying for time. if you donât like it, hereâs what to do in simple steps:
- donât use it
- profit
wonder what ilvl herlooms will be in DF like 59 and ilvl 240 ??
This problem exists mostly with players who have tons of altâs.
It might be overpriced considering the decrease in level time compared to before the squish, but youâre definitely asking for too much.
I donât care about the flying speed or explored map but the rest youâre just asking to skip the current patch (with max ilvl gear and the biggest bags that exist pretty much) or a bunch of vanity stuff that arenât mandatory and youâre not entitled to just because you pay money. Legacy content is still content, either do that yourself, skip it or in the case of professions buy it from someone else.
The boost skips levelling, it does not skip gearing.
We did used to have a kind of profession boost included years ago but that still involved you doing a chunk of levelling first yourself. Everything has changed since then. They changed the way professions work instead so you can jump straight into the end expansion (or any expansion) profession instead of having to level through all the previous expansions.
The price is to deter people from using it all the time. I do think itâs too expensive but at the same time Iâve boosted several characters and I usually use the boost included in expansions.
Looking at the classic boost, this one, and your proposalâŚ
- The usual argument: itâs supposed to be expensive so that only a few take it.
Arguably a lot do, but it could be even more.
Then again, GW2 has various boost mechanics, if you play endgame, you earn them. - Possibly they got eager based on classic.
But there is a big difference. What you do with the boost, you basically buy your own time back. Instead of âslogging throughâ the levels you donât care about⌠apart from not earning loot in the process, itâs essentially your salary.
In WLK it takes very many hours to reach 58 / 70, even after speeding it up. In retail, there are zones quite good for it, I got from 44 to 49 doing two subzones of Azsuna over a couple hours. (Two weeks, actually, so I was fully rested.)
So at this point, Iâd say, itâs really about validating your need to get the boost.
That said, heroic and deluxe editions shouldnât have a boost. Sure, for literally free, why not, but as the core offering. At least with classic you can make use of it (start on a new realm, new faction, or bump an alt class-spec to improve endgame access variety).
However, about your suggestion specifically, I wouldnât want the boost to be a full-on pay-to-win mechanic.
The blackmarket that makes blizz$ sell an account with what u stated at 300-500 euros.
Makes blizzard millions each year.
And u want them to give it in the boost:)
I agree the price is lamentable and high.
But fool isnt the one who asks its the one who pays
Gluck
everything in this game is overpricedâŚ
not just the boosts.
