I tried to quit the game by the exit game tab and it didnt worked , then i went with Alt+F4 and when i tried to log back on my char i get a message “A character with that name already exist” i log on to my character!
Tried logging out, not happening.
I’ll leave things as they are and not Alt+F4. See what’s up.
Have same issue, could not log out with my char, hard closed game, now i get Character with this name already exists…
Well atleast you can log on different char, all i got is black screen and no characters

I even logged into my DH just to see if my Hunter would become available, and I could see myself still in world:

And when I try logging out everything freezes, can’t use abilities, and can’t log out…
I took a good few minutes after I logged in on another character too watch my main log out was stood right next to them on Magtheridon
edit - should have mentioned I can do things on other characters and barber shop changes saved just cant log out for a few minutes
Just got disconnected, good old “WOW51900319” strikes again.

I have the same issue as well, cannot log back into characters.
Same issue here. I could not exit the game, character was not responsive to me trying to get it to move from AFK. So I quit the game by closing the window, quit battle.net, started it again and tried to log in to my rouge. I get loading screen, then I get kicked out back to character selection screen, then I try again and get the error that the character already exists. I managed to log in on my other character but I cannot do anything, not even exit the game or just log out. It seems like only the only thing that works is chat.
Same for me. After trying to log out in zuldazar at the mission table nothing happens and after doing alt f4 i also got that error message.
Same here on 2 characters. Logged out and can see my first logged out character stood there. Gonna try again in the morning. Not gonna lock them all out.
Same here. I’ve had the disconnect issue since last night. Thought it was addons, but by the looks of it, many others are getting the issue as well.

Same issue
I could see some toon standing still in SW without the ability to inspect them. When I switched toon my old one was still standing
nearly the same happens to my chars in SW, I could call my mount, went to the trade district in SW and… each building was empty no NPC there and then I could not leave, I had to log out manually wtf when I log in again same happens …
Same logout/exit issues here. After attempting to logout or exit nothing happens and no other in game actions work. Only alt+f4 works which then leaves me with “character with that name already exists” error. Have disabled addons, cleared cache/wtf folders and scanned/repaired game files. Still happening.
Update: Now I just have a blank screen with no chars when I log in.
Same here can’t logout ,after forcing game to exit can’t load chars…
same, managed to get back in to 1 alt, but got a message saying internal calendar error and have no world quests on the map
