Clarification needed by Blues on possibility to transfer to Era at end of Anniversary Classic

Hi,

I wish (and I think many others do too) that Blizzard would clarify on what the options will be for players who wish to remain in Classic and not continue into TBC. The obvious option seems like being able to copy/transfer your character to the existing Era servers.

The reason for this, as some of us are considering leveling several characters, doing R14 on several characters etc might not be so interesting unless we could send the characters/save them on an infinite classic realm. If we are forced to go into TBC on the Anniversary characters theres a big chance you might not want to sink as much time into the game since it will all be obsolete by TBC anyways, which will also arrive faster then in original classic of 2019.

I know Dual Spec isn’t a thing on Era and I don’t think players deciding to stay in classic would mind losing the invested gold in dual spec if it’s not something you would want to introduce to those servers. It’s a quality of life improvement ofcourse, same that it will be for TBC since Dual spec wasn’t a TBC feature either and other quality of life improvements have been made for Era (ex Boon).

Please Blizzard, give us an option like we got at the original TBC Classic release and let us copy chars or something similar of that, I’m sure it would benefit the longevity of Classic Era and TBC while also letting people level/gear alts and keep Anniversary more active.

Already have 5 60’s on Era and don’t get me wrong, I wanna do TBC too. But would still like to be able to copy my chars from Anniversary to Era and do TBC too. I don’t mind paying for it.

Same! I am interested to proceed in to TBC, but also would like to keep my character on ERA, too. For me that would be the best option.

I beg to disagree with you on this matter, I would be happy with the influx of anniversary players to era to strengthen the GDKP rosters again. I actually beg to disagree on all your troll points you made. New honor system is easy for dad gamers to do R14, not a hard grind anymore. Era parsers are one of the main reasons we even got classic fresh again, if there wasn’t activity on classic servers all these years blizzard wouldn’t have incentive enough to do fresh.

That is not true - we have been welcoming SoM and HC players for years now. It is in fact a healthy stream of players for our community.

They have adapted for no changes, it is also one of the things they know when the sign up for Era. A voluntary choice.

On the contrary - Era is BY FAR the best MMORPG out there, since you actually have to pay some degree of attention to MMO, and the RPG, although a carcass, its still there. I think you actually wanted to say the worst SOLORMT game of all time, and to that I agree.

This is something a lot of Era players strongly criticize, as you know because I have been on your side for a long time on this…
