I was playing today some M+ dungeons and since SL I use the Kyrian hearthstone… And while watching the animation play I wondered why there are no class-specific hearthstones like a Paladin and a Priest using Holy Light with each a unique animation to recall to safe zones. Or Druids and Shamans using Nature/Elemental-themed animations to do the same…
I feel like this could add some depth to the classes.

That’s the thing I hate the most about communicating with others via text. You can never fully understand the person on the other end. If I recall a job meeting right I had once, 90% of the human communication is via body language. The remaining 10% are split between spoken language/text.
So, for 10% possible communication, we are doing pretty good most the time but it would be much easier to argue while being in the same room.

i think class based hearthstones would be pretty a pretty cool idea… maybe even having them customisable to a certain extent.
Yep, like for example 2 different light-based animations/visuals for Holy/Discipline(?) priest and 1 for shadowpriest.
maybe achievement or content locked animations to collect too.
But that would require the content-locked ones to be used alongside evergreen content from older expansions imo. Since not everyone plays newest DLC when it comes out.
maybe completeing a timewalking icecrown citadel raid for example would unlock a DK portal hearth stone which the player walks through ?
there is a lot if potential with this game, but do they have the people in place in the company to come up with these things?
Well, let’s hope the 100 man hire last summer was worth it in the long run. A good 3D designer and a programmer could make those stones happen in like 3 weeks if they spend a bit of time on it.
Time wasting seems to be a major factor. Look at Halls of Valor portal etc. Waffly quest givers etc.

Love this idea. This game desperately needs an injection of proper class fantasy effort, we haven’t seen a worthy amount of class fantasy effort since Legion.
