As it happens, yes they do.
I can see that you are stilll bitter at only gaining a lowly third place. You shouldn’t be, given the calibre of entries to this year’s masterclass.
I haven’t seen a premade in my last 20 or so AB games.
I’m sure I’ve jinxed it now and my next game will be one.
WSG is still an absolute mess though. Premades every game and it’s too composition dependent.

What did you expect from an old game than when played by modern players is quickly beaten and turned into a raid/pvp-logging? Classic is most fun when it’s fresh and up to early progression, after that it gets stale and boring. Around AQ and Naxx people on private servers already were looking/asking for a FRESH.
Some servers that altered the schedule (mainly WoTLK ones?) found out that people like double speed reams - content is released 2x quicker, raid resets timing is halved and pretty much you can roll fresh for every character you want to level no matter if you want high end game content or not. And when everyone is fresh there is no premade or boosting or excess gold.

thats exactly my problem.i really wanted to have a vanilla experience.i want to walk to a dungeon,through a dangerous world and actually try and play this game
i cant do this with all these tryhards comming from retail,i cant even find a dungeon group anymore,everyone is boosting or getting boosted
the even worst part is ignorant tryhards ,defending everything wrong with the game,using 0 logic other than “you bad”

There is very little retail players and what you see happened on every private server ever… more so people that played there mastered the art of modern meta game - do we like it or not every game now has a meta and is meta-gamed. Boost is here because it’s most time efficient. Simple as that. It’s kind of annoying but that how it goes.
FRESH. Or flood the zones with TBC announcement + character progression from Classic to TBC.
meta gaming isn’t equal “you don’t want to play an old game”. Rather your expectations weren’t altered for 2020 
IMHO you would love those 2x speed realms. If Classic was 2x we already be in FRESH.

on a more serious note. There will ALWAYS be premades in vanilla wow. The gen1 premades already pawing with their hooves to get the sweet high warlord title again.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking there wont be instant premades on F R E S H.

Leveling is 10 months old. People who level now already have multiple lvl60 characters, they ain’t gonna bother question and searching for dungeon groups.
the premades playing so late in classic rly are not all that good. A small group of 3-4 players can take on most premades running warsong.
There always will be but when it’s fresh there is way more other players than now.
Fresh realm that you can’t transfer to. It starts with no content progressed so you start from scratch and everyone else also has to start that way. There is no lvl 60 toons to boost, there is no excess gold etc… It was also the model private server use. People went up to Naxx, some overgeared as hell, just to reroll level 1 next day on FRESH and pretty much never log back in to the old realm. That’s also why “FRESH” has a bit of a meme-value.
Well, spellcleave dungeons for leveling weren’t a thing on pservers due to lower exp for mobs there. When it was found out most popular vanilla-only streamers popularized that. It’s not specific to retail. It’s specific to progression driven games and to modern gaming.
Or those early gold making videos - “how I made 10K in classic wow” when many were below 60 - those weren’t retail player 
What game are you playing? Yes on my server people do boost but people are always spammining LFG for the most popular dungeons on my server, Wailing Caverns, Scarlet Monastery, Maraudon are probably the most common. There are also plenty of people questing, which i know as have had to wait for mobs to respawn on more than one occasion.
I really think this a PvP server problem not a classic problem. Just transfer to PvE server if you’re not having a good time.
This is very server dependent.
I can say there is more chill on Nethergarde where I’m playing. PvE seems less “hardcorified”.

I wrote a long post about this, essentially i think 9 out of 10 people who rolled on a PvP server don’t actually like PvP servers. This meaning the inevitable dynamics that come as a result of being on a PvP server. They were just drawn in by the idea, and a false one at that, of PvP servers being the “real experience”, the reality is PvP servers make a lot of the full wow experience inaccessible or at least a lot harder for the vast majority of the player base.
You’re right.
However, if you play on a server with a good ally pop the world pvp is still sterling.
Really though it’s the players at fault. Their min max crap is 70% of what is wrong with classic
