Classic Burning Crusade

Hi there,

I’d love to play the upcoming Classic Burning Crusade - is it possible to start leveling from 1 - 60 already to prepare for the Burning Crusade launch?

What server should I start doing this? Anniversary (Thunderstrike) for example? Or something else? I’m a bit lost with all the options…

Thank you!

If you don’t want a Blood Elf or Draenei then yes, you can start now on any Anniversary mega-realm.

Spineshatter and Thunderstrike (PvP and PvE) are fine - https://ironforge.pro/population/anniversary/?locale=EU

Note that during prepatch, it will be slightly quicker to level up, and very likely there will be a paid level 58 boost as well.

.. for all races except Blood Elf and Draenei obviously

Amazing, thank you!

30% less experience required for 20-60, more quests and removed elite zones.

Also mounts at level 30 for (I think?) 20g

Yes, it is possible, unless you want to play draenei or blood elf.

You should play on Spineshatter PvP. Thunderstrike is PvE, so it’s for weak players. Unless you’re weak player.

I started a warlock so i will defenetly be 60 before TBC

Yes, you can prepare in advance nad your characters will carry over to TBC. Obviously, you can’t prepare Belf and Draenei characters

Available EU realms for this purpose are Spineshatter (PvP) and Thunderstrike (PvE). If you can stand being ocassionally shot down by 60lvls during levelling, than you should definitely choose Spineshatter.

You are in need for cannon fodder, right?

Today you’re fodder, tomorrow you’re cannon. That’s circle of life.

PvP is for psychopaths who want to gank and corpse-camp low level players, PvE is for normal players.

Hehe i am lvling a warlock now and i newer been killed so much as now.

People even have the time to staye around to ress kill me a few times before they move on. I playe on a pvp server so i live whit it.

Also worth noting is the fact that TBC classic (2) is still and always was a player fantasy. Nothing has been confirmed.

TBC Classic (2 as you name it) was officially confirmed by Blizzard on Classic Anniversary start back in 2024.

Thanks for the reply. Officially confirmed? I remember seeing the wowhead post but not the post/stream/video or w/e the roadmap image is from. I couldnt find it then and i cant find it now.

Do you know where it was “revealed”? I hope its an oversight on my end, because I cant see any sources on the wowhead page you linked.

i just started a Warlock on Spineshatter horde. lvling to 60 before the pre patch to have time to gear and get epic mount  Server is packed full of people everywhere. Getting groups for instances ez. Im lvl 30 ^^

Took me a while to find it, but here you go.
