with the new honor system ppl queue only AV, I queue AB everyday and it only starts once per month on AB double weekend
Considering 100rep per BG + marks, Exalted is out of reach of an human being
Now while i dont care the rep or to get this tabard for 123123 time in my horde life … what blizzard have done is plain dumb. Ppl say its player’s choice what to play ,but is it actually ?
Human brain is made to always seek and want the most efficient way in doing something and its hard programmed into us so much that one would even sacrifice fun and become repetitive bot in order to achieve what is the most optimal for any given task . In this case its honor grind. So basically when Activision ( i refuse to call them Blizzard anymore for well known reasons ) decided to reward almost 5k honor per AV game that is done in 10 min … and the same for 1 hr of wsg clutch the choice of players is pre - determined if they still play for honor. Now you may say when they reach their goal they will play what they like , umm probably not , probably second alt to rank 14 or simply burned out and wont queue any bg. What Activision HAVE to do is give hard cap on honor PER GAME and make it equal somehow so it wont be the deciding factor , but not nerfing AV , bring the rest on par with it otherwise we get to unhealthy levels of no lifing again . The reason they changed the system was so we dont sit 24/7 , so nerfing AV is the opposite of this goal. Make all BG’s to reward the same honor no matter what u do per win and the same per lose . Let ppl play what they like , if i feel like im B dead and 2 tired i might queue AV … if i feel like i want to eat some gnomes all day long i will play WSG. Inb4 someone say whats stoping you now … already explained , the feel im punished to play " inferior " battleground by Activision design and also that there are top 2 games even at wsg weekend. Not fun tho when everyone and their mum is AV Qing and u play wsg with the 10 ppl left on the planet earth and waiting a lot to enter. Sooo, thats what i think anyway. Funny… the best way to play for honor in player versus player is to kill vandar and skip the pvp or you losing ton of HPH. Activision brain farted right there.
I feel this post disrespects the great, big (its gotta be big) corporation that Blizzard is.
As a person donating 75% of my salary every month to this company, I believe the game to be perfect and I dont understand the people who criticize it.
The only thing missing is an honor bonus everytime you log in a character of, say, 20k, to ease things up before joining AV - or a log off, log in indefinite honor bonus cycle to allow for true WoW hardcore players to fulfill their dreams.
While writing this post, I have actually gotten very bored of Classic Era - Blizzard, why don’t you give me Classic+? It is the bestest idea!

Pretty simple just make AB and WSG give more honor also a reason why people do av is u don’t really need gear to get started.
I need rep for AB shoulders, its ridicolous you can exalt AV in a weekend and takes months/years to exalt AB, even if you buff AB honor, reputation in AB is ridicolous to farm, need to buff it A LOT
And yes, they removed PVP from BGs, you just run to kill AV boss with no pvp involved
