Barbershop would be a great addition to the game, thoughts?

Rather not, the point of classic is to make tough choices, especially in character create.
Permanence of character styles, looks and gear is what gives weight to the world. I see three trolls from my friend list and I don’t need nameplates to know who is who, in retail race, gender, style, gear non of that has any significance or weight because it’s so malleable.
I know a simple hairstyle change wouldn’t even be objectively immersion breaking. Fantasy settings do have barbers, but I personally wouldn’t be for it, and additionally I feel opening those doors invites more of the problems retail is plagued with.

What’s wotlk got to do with era?
The point of vanilla is to play and interact with players. You communicate and get recognized by your character looks. Especially if you spent some time and made least typical character face combo

I would rather implement a better character creation than a barbershop.

barbershop and transmog would be great in every game, but some people in classic get off on being stuck with bad hair and colors mismatch.

True, however I do not find it as positive change. Yes the vanilla system is flawed in a sence in promotes inhuman time dedication and abuses like killing lvl 1 bots to extend brackets. However soon we would see and army of Grand marshals and Horde of High Warlords commanding one reqruit and one grunt respectively.
I’d like it. It’s a very tame feature that should’ve been included from the beginning. I don’t believe in the “recognising character” thing much. You’ve already got no name change or transmog, which spoil that the most. I think it’s fair to have your character change. Especially that you’re likely to stick with them for a long time on era.
So when is this coming? As the fluid bodytype I am I’d like to trans between them whenever I prefer and feel. It’s 2023 for crying out loud. Are you transphobic or something?
