I wonder how your Hardcore raiding guilds would do without trading and AH? The answer is no way the could exist. And without End game hardcore will be soon very dull with another 10 iron men competing for killing millions of boars in his white gear.
Not defending Bots here, but the trading, mailing and AH between same levels should be allowed. And SSF can simply use their trade forbidding rule if they want to.
Trades and AH must be allowed no matter what without any restrictions. This is a mmo and not a single player game. My point is Blizzard should ban bots frequently not every 3 months or so.
Disable trading with money (you can still trade stuff, but no money).
Make AH fixed price (a always on BO price, at 3 times the price you get from selling it to vendor).
Disable sending money in mail (only receiveing from AH).
Bots sell gold as medium of exchange, so if you will disable direct exchange they will use token items that will be traded for gold, something with huge vendoring value. And according to your example you can trade items, so token items would be exchanged and if needed sold for raw gold.
Ok so one discord had this post about GDKP run in 2019 that accepted parrot pets as a currency. The catch was that these pets very rare, but people wasted a lot of money to buy em all out, so esentually flipped the market.
In our case people could trade nominal rare items as a substitute for gold and Diablo II barter trading style would begin, where bot would still be able to farm more of thouse items that any human.
And if the item would have huge vendoring price bots can even buyout these items from players on AH, allowing gold circulation.
All loots, world, dungeon and raid, (stuff, weapons, recipes) became Binds when picked up. As well as all crafting raw materials (leather, ores, plants, enchant compounds) but not “Transmutations, Rods, Salt Sieve, Mooncloth, Treated Rugged Skin and so on” essential for other professions.
Raise the level of use of craft objects (potions, elixir, weapons…) to the level at which the components/recipes are normally available. For example for the mongoose elixir which is usable lvl46 make it usable only from level 53 (because the recipe drops on mobs between 51 and 53).
?
Terrible. All professions are interdependent, you also need herbs, skins etc for other proffs.
This is suggestion for Seasonal, not for Era or HC server.
Leather you can get by fishing. Besides alchemy, which profession requires herbs?
I believe if you can trade “Transmutations, Rods, Salt Sieve, Mooncloth, Treated Rugged Skin, enchanted leather, Enchanted Thorium, Plans: Inlaid Mithril Cylinder/Goblin Rocket Fuel Recipe and so on” all professions are viable.
From what I know of, only the Greater Arcane Protection Potion requires a raw material from another profession. And the Wildvine for leatherworking. But it can drop on mobs.
I do not say you can not level to max. You always can. But you limit fun and lots of recipes / patterns.
Just examples: Herbs for tailoring, gems for LW, Buckles for tailoring, potions for tailoring and LW, pickpocketed items for LW, Salt shaker for LW … lots of patterns / recipes requires mats from other proffs and classes.
And I wish you GL in finding chests / fish for leather in official HC server for long time on.
