CLASSIC ERA / HC - [Bug] Permanent "String of Ears" Buff Removed at 32 Buff Limit + Paladin Buff Issue on Horde

Hello,

I would like to report a bug concerning the permanent String of Ears buff from the Hardcore servers. This buff was removed from my character after I had more than 32 active buffs. As this buff holds symbolic and prestigious value to me, I kindly ask if it would be possible to restore it to my character.

Could you please contact me so I can provide the details of the character affected by the disappearance of this permanent buff?

Additionally, I’d like to take this opportunity to report another issue: when Paladin blessings are applied to a Horde character (via Priest Mind Control), they disappear after logging out and back into the game. Could this bug also be addressed?

Bugs are reported ingame, or on the US forums in the Bug forum.

The Customer support in game hasn’t been working for a while now.
And i’m not sure it’s possible to post on the US Forums without a character created :confused:

are u talking about 5 min blessings? i think 15 min blessings are supposed disappear as soon as u cease to be in group with the paladin (pet of the priest in this case)

True, you need to make a trial account and level a char up to 10 if you want to post on US forums. Customer support does not read the EU forums - and if they did, they would just tell you to post a bug report like I did :slight_smile:

Okey thank you for your answer.

I was talking about the 15 minutes buff, blessing buffs disappears if I disconnect / reconnect my horde character who was main controlled.

Rend buff didnt dissapear for Alliance players who were MC, horde players should have the same thing for paladins buffs :slight_smile:

Did you die and transfer? or did the buff disappear on the HC server?

Afaik all HC buffs “dissipate” when you transfer.
“Dissipate” here means that they do not disappear immediately upon transfer, but that one day they are not there any more.

The String of Ears buff is the only buff that doesn’t disappear once transferred from HC to ERA. I still had the buff for months after the transfer, even after multiple deaths. The only thing that makes it disappear is exceeding the 32-buff limit.

OK, thanks for cutting it in cardboard for me. As I do not PvP I did not know about the String of Ears being permanent.

Make a trial account US side - and pester yourself with ten levels “Island” to be able to post in the US forums - might be your only way to be heard.
