Not true, plenty of players on ERA. Each day more I think. SOD is so boring I think. ERA is home.

Era is still alive, especially if you compare it to how it was during TBC. Sorry to burst your dream here: SOD is not an Era killer.

All I see here is âSODâ is better or âERAâ is better. Your preferences are just that, YOURS.
Everything has cycles, some go and come back but are not quite the same and some go and never come back.
Its up to Blizz and the player base to decide how that happens. At the end of the day, nothing lasts forever.

How long are your queues ? still instant ?
How many hours a week are you putting in ranking ?

You should play the whole day including evenings for at least 5 days for max honor. Just change your lifestyle a bit, quit your partner/job and enjoy the pixels

Speaking for myself, Iâm mostly playing in SoD right now and having fun. That been said, I do log into Era as well, but less frequently.
People will return to Era when SoD ends or if it overstays its welcome. I know I will fully return when SoD loses its luster for me. But so far my limited time does not let me focus equally on Era and SoD.

Today its 5/7mn queue in Alliance side.
Finally a healthy take on different games.
For me who played Vanilla, private servers when Classic wasnât here and then Classic from 2019 Era doesnât really give a lot than just logging in here and there to get a feeling of the old world again.
I think I wouldnât do another fresh with the âfew changesâ Era had.
SoD really gives this Classic+ vibe which gives the opportunity to replay my favorite game in another flavor.
Funny enough even if itâs market as a season itâs the most chill version. 2019 in Era MC wouldâve already been on farm by now.^^ In SoD I really take my time and while leveling wPVP is not a gank party where you get ganked by 60s since wellâŚeveryone is lvl 25 - plus the enforced healthy server population ratio.

Iâm switching between SoD and Era current
SoD starts lose Ppl who join Era again
P2 starts on 8.2. so I guess in around 3 months SoD will lose more ppl when P2 is ending
then the Era population should grow, again
SoD is still in the beginning^^ Itâs far from âlosingâ people especially with new 60 endgame content update end of the year according to the roadmap.
But first letâs enjoy P1 and the coming P2. Itâs really something unique to WoW which I have never experienced. love it

I still say, SoD will lose a couple of ppl in around 3 months

Most play the new hype thing.
First it was Era when people got tired of WOTLK ulduar and then it was Hardcore and now it is Season of discovery
Of course a game looses players over time. However the nice thing with SoD even if people are raidlogging now, the leveling will commence. We even got more leveling phases ahead of us.
In 2019 Classic MC would already be on farm.
