As someone who doesn’t buy gold I really appreciate that dual spec will be added to era which will allow to change specs without punishment

Couldn’t agree more. Already resubbed 5 accounts and within my family, friends and colleagues there are already 15 ppl with at least 3 accounts resubbing because of dual spec coming to Era. Great decision by Blizzard.

As someone who also doesn’t buy gold, i respectfully disagree. In my opinion Dual Spec is not needed or wanted when the broader implications are taken in to account.
We do not need another slippery slope of changes leading to a game we do not recognize.

rank 14 and chronoboon is way bigger change than dual spec.
Dungeon finder is not queue finder like in retail, you list righteous orbs farm strat live need 2 dps and boom people click on it you invite them and go together there, saves time spamming chat in capital city like a bot.
I would say remove chronoboon and R14 changes so people aren’t forced to spend 3 months in AV, but give dual spec so someone as me who primary enjoys classic for playing battlegrounds (not raiding) I don’t need to pay 100g every time I want to do dungeon or raid.
They all have the same thing in common: We didn’t ask for them!

90% want quality of life changes however 10% minority crying loud like spoiled little children. I hope these changes come live and such mentally ill players can finally leave classic forever and never come back. We don’t want you.

I find ppl claiming to unsub on 3 accounts because of dualspac also very hard to believe.
2019 was a 1.12 abomination, not proper vanilla. Changes could have made it more vanilla-like though
It must be incredible comforting to frame the entire discussion as “everyone that agrees with me is the silent majority, and everyone who disagrees is a spoiled child or mentally ill”.
It creates a very tidy worldview where you never have to examine your own arguments or consider that other players might simply value different aspects of the game than you do.
You’re free to like the changes.
Others are free to dislike them.
There is not just a single narrative where anyone who questions a change should “leave forever”.
But reducing everyone who disagree with you to "“mentally ill spoiled children” doesn’t make your point stronger, it just shows you’re not interested in an actual discussion.

True, but let’s not pretend opponents of dualspec don’t use this tactic. Numerous players have been claiming to speak for the entire era community when they say Era doesn’t want dualspac.
No, it’s actually not. For both the saying: “Don’t want them, don’t use them” holds true. But Dual spec is another kettle of fish. No raidleaders are ever goint to take mono- or even worse meme specced players in.
So no, Classic Era does not want dual spec - some players might. I’m not among those. And I also never buy

Now every server will in effect be an Anniversary server. Classic lovers / Era players are homeless once again.
No raid leader on Era will take undergeared without booned all the WB and full on consumes, a few hundred gold per raid every raid. They already aren’t taking meme specs into Naxx and probably AQ40. For everything else, at least on the PvE cluster, it’s more than easy; they need bodies for old raids/split runs of old raids from which they need very few specific items, and everything else is for the picking. On the PvP cluster, it’s more common to sell this as a boost/carry 
I always played something that could heal (outside one mage run), and dual spec is excellent. Lack of dual spec was also very annoying for my pala in Classic TBC as there was constant shortage of tanks for dungeons, while for raids I was a healer - so either constant respec or ignore dungeons and raidlog, which is boring, so I quit TBC 
Same thing happened with my pre-Classic Shamans… Druid on Anniversary was awesome though, including unexpected but prepared early MC Rag tanking using the green volcanic set 
If you expect integrity from this game, then you are playing for the wrong reasons and paying the wrong company. You have 50 - 100 million gold available on the ERA EU now from gold sellers - and googling TBC gearing brings mostly such sites as results. Where is any integrity in any of the WoW versions?
I get where you’re coming from, and you’re right that expecting integrity from Blizzard is unrealistic, given the state of WoW Classic today and their general track record of not keeping promises to that community. Not to mention their seemingly indifferent approach to botting and RMT.
But i don’t think we should simply give up on the things that were originally promised to the Classic community. If we stop pushing for that, we lose the little integrity the game still does have.

I had never minded how others played.
I have protested changes, and vended my way between them.
I had my integrity on the Era HC realms. I never played Anniversary (8 levels Warrior hardly counts )
Now no more, and I have unsubbed.
Please don’t presume to speak for everyone who finds join in what the game used to be. If you like the “advances” and “improvements” made to it with later iterations, kindly direct your play time outside the era servers.
