Is it just on my computer or does it seem as if classic has had a complete graphics overhaul compared to the 2004 version?
Did they really redicule the #nochanges philosophy? On my computer classic looks better than retail times 10.
Classic dose look better than retail (not in fidelity but in art style) and your computer is a few hundred times more powerful than the most powerful gaming computers were back in 2004 so ofc it both looks and runs better.
Well. In that case I’d pick the classic art designers over the retail art designers any day.

They did some things to the graphics - you can fiddle with the settings and have something very like 2004 
I love the old models, areas and so on - it is part and parcel of what Vanilla is.
Reduce everything to settings 1, and it will still not look like it.
No, it just goes to show, how rediculous and hypocrite they make the playerbase and themselves appear, with their #nochanges philosophy. Now, don’t understand me wrong, most people will love this, but it’s a bit weird that a 20 year old game looks better than a brand new polished version of their game called retail.
A newcomer would think that classic, is the newer game of the two.
