lot of classic players just farming in retail i token for game time and priceof token i have seen even 240k and was like 180 and also all flask pots herbs etc also losing on price and that way is not going maybe players on classic doesnt feal that but we on retail really feal som really this point to put wow token in classic price of token there should be completely different than it is on retaily and probably for every sever different price
token geting higher price bcs of more farmers of gold
herbs, flasks etc losing price bcs of herb farmes bcs there is a lot more herbs than server needs
both increase time more and more for token so im telling that classic needs token and for sure not 140k of gold but lower price dependingly on token demand and offer
bcs classic makes problem to retail this is place to put it bcs classic makes problem to retail not retailt to classic and that will not be good on long run and anyway u have gold sellers on classic which have to be stopped also but u cant ban everyone
If you want Herbs and Ore go back to expensive like they should be, they should not be unique per player. They should be shared across all cross-realm-zone so if someone gather something, it disappear for 30mn and other players can’t gather that. It is how it works in Classic, and you won’t see ressource decrease in price at high-lvl because they are hard to find (example : Arcane crystal from RTV).
If you don’t do that, you will see guys that connect on Retail and gather all the herbs / ore and disconnect to come back later and do the same thing over and over. Or you will see guys that multibox and gather 10 herbs + 10 herbs + 10 herbs …
This is about supply and demand. Game time tokens are more in demand due to more people wanting to play WoW (due to Classic). This causes the price to rise assuming the supply remains the same. There is nothing to fix here, just basic economics at work.
How long need to farm in retail to get that token?
Isn’t just more bots farming? Last time I played, bots just overflowed market with herbs, ores and I gave up on farming profs.
Less people play retail (no new content, Classic) = less tokens = higher prices. Farming 250k gold does require some time and effort so I doubt Classic players do it (those that didn’t do it pre-classic on existing retail toons).
OP point is fair enough but not only Classic rocketed token price (from 180K ish to 220ish) but Shadowlands prepurchase (which includes boost and other goodies, from 220K to 250K). Having a separate farming system inside Classic will be fine but I think because of #nochanges it’s not gonna happen.
