Classic needs its own forum

Let me preface this by saying I don’t want any Retail vs Classic baloney in this thread. I’m just asking that give Classic their own forum, and not just categories here on the retail forums. They are two completely different games, so there’s no reason why they should be sharing the same space.
Countless times I’ve mistaken a Classic thread for Retail and most likely confused people with my responses, and I’m sure I’m not alone there.
On top of that you see “Retail/Classic better” posts which does nothing but further promote animosity between the two communities. At least if they were separate we wouldn’t even see these threads.
I visit the New section, and now I have to filter through to try and find relevant posts to the game I play, and it’s just annoying. PLEASE consider giving Classic their own home.

they have their own section in the forums.

But i guess it’s too hard to go there and find it, even though it’s a GIANT section of the forums. so people post here instead.

Interesting. Maybe it’d help if they removed the Classic section from the retail forums so they are forced to use it. They are such different games it’s like throwing Overwatch categories in these forums as well.

The problem is , they can’t really tell retail player how much they suck in the classic forum.

How can they feel superior when everybody would be playing classic like in the classic forum ?

No no they need the retail player to read what they Write , which is why a classic forum is not needed

I didn’t even think about that. I apologise, I’m usually not that selfish! Perhaps they could leave one category open for them to post why Classic and its players are superior to that of retail and make it the home page so people are forced to read it before continuing. Hopefully this is a good compromise that everybody can get on board with.

Hey, my class in classic has 4 BiS items I can get for free at level 45.

Any ideas how I can alternatives were I have to work hard ?

it’s so nice to see the same forum threads on both Classic and Retail. “Don’t post in retail if you play classic” “Don’t post in classic if you play retail”.

I love you all, you are all the same. This applies to every other topic like changes and community.

Everything is the same.

no, it’s because people from Retail post there. more than classic players do. They come with topics like Classic sucks, go to retail and so on.

The forums would look very different if even just half of Classic players were like this. It’s a minority.

Also some Retail players like to do the same to us. Both sides are as bad as each other.

Unfortunately instead of making just yourself look bad, you make us all look bad.
