But still all of Classic except Naxxramax is irrelevant for what we are talking out. Clearing MC on Classic was easiet? BwL? Aq? ALL THAT IS EVEN EASIER IN RETAIL. Why would anyone care about those things for a Retail- Classic merge? Only Naxxramax matters. And Classic was based on Naxxramax patch? Addons? Those are players made so taking about then is mine talking about players skill. That was never the bar for the reward. At the end you are claiming who did the same that required the same skill should not have the same reward. And that is dishonest. Players knowledge was never part of the reward bar. Completing the content was

Agree, I posted this few weeks ago. There should be one realm UP permanently offering the expansion for players who want to play that expansion as their end game and be locked in time.

Hell why to stop there , go even further, there should be a permament realm for every Season and Xpac combo, so anytime we feel like it we could jump in there and work for the limited stuff available that season and then get merged to retail on demand.

With this new Classic and Retail merge they are thinking about, another Pandora’s Box is open, so just go WILD.

IMHO the poll should ask not oly CLASSIC players, but RETAIL players should be asked too, whether they want MoP classic ppl getting merged, because it also affects them.

Asking the wolves if they want to be released into a yard full of sheeps without asking those sheeps…

I’ll let You know then: knowledge trickles down. Average player is way better now compared to vanilla. Playing on private servers gives zero advantage - I used to frequent mage discord up to WotLK classic, and remember how often they had to correct people’s takes on what is optimal by saying it is private server knowledge.

I find that mindset dushonest. The fact that more players have the skill to do something is not a valid reason to deny rewards.

I don’t know what do You mean. You aren’t denied any reward. You play WoW classic and are given Your rewards in WoW classic. Is it not rewarding enough for You?

What about all the things being added on the Trading Post and the prior unobtainable items that people thought was TOTALLY cool for Blizz to make available again. That was totally fine but now that it’s items people feel they put effort into to obtain when it was current. NOW IT’S NOT OKAY?

If you liked Classic you would have been playing it already.

So if you’d known about Classic characters transferring to Retail you would have spent SIX YEARS doing something you didn’t like. LOL!

If they do offer this to Classic players and some of them take them up - It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them treated in a toxic manner by other players due to spite and jealousy.

Sure, had I known this I would of played classic more - but alas I have a job and a life to attend to and I chose to focus on retail.

Personally, I want to keep the games seperate to keep retail players off classic. Play the games if you enjoy them. Don’t play if you only do it for rewards for another game, or version of the game.
