Classic should be one time purchase and not monthly sub. We don’t want changes, we don’t want tweaking, balancing, new stuff, patches, and so on.
So we should buy game once, and that should be it.

its an old game, 100% completed just like mario land 1,2 and 3.
the only costs are the servers.
i even wonder if this game is worth all the effort still, its a sinking ship.
In general every Game is a sinking ship. ppl get bored of it and there are always new games you know. Yes there are some (player-) expections, but every game has its deadline. TBH its a big accomplishment, that WoW sunk so slowly, that they can keep develop the game up till now and even bring out classic 
The only reason I agree with you is because of the huge lack of Costumer Support and no Game Masters, so Classic is full of bots, cheaters, and some bugs are still waiting to get fixed even tho it is a 15yr old game!
Blizzard says Classic is for free and we pay for Retail, but that is just an excuse, they know fully well 80% of Subscriptions only happened in the past few months because of Classic WoW and not Retail!
We deserve correct Costumer Support, active Game Masters and bug fixes since WE only subbed to play Classic!
If they go buy to play I will understand the lack of correct Costumer Support and active Game Masters, untill then we deserve correct service for our money!

Don’t delude yourself that much, some people subbed to try out classic and a lot of them left.
Queues went from 10-20k+ on most realms to no queue at all, so those 20k+ per realm either went back to retail or quit again.
It’s true that many tourists have left, and will continue to leave (layers kinda made it too convenient so it delayed the time it took for some of the tourists to leave), but part of the reason why queues went down is 1. because of the added servers post-launch & character migration services, and 2. increasing population caps on the servers to mitigate the queues.
Yeah, come naxx and you’ll find a lot of servers beginning to die a lot faster, once Naxx has been cleared.
Especially since people know there’s no more content after Naxx.
This is an MMORPG, people come and go, not everyone started playing exactly at launch you know, and many more will come, since Classic is the better alternative to Retail.
A mmorpg producing new no content after naxx is out, would not be appealing to people.
The only reason mmorpgs survive is if they release new content.
Pservers are a proof that no new content is needed at all for Classic.
The only reason pservers are dead is because Blizzard forced them to close.
(And the huge success of Classic WoW.)
Private servers also shut down every year, so players would lose their characters.
Classic would not.

The thing is… most people think Classic is better game than retail… so if Classic is for free, who would play retail?
This is why subscription is shared… so people play Classic but are actually supporting retail development… unfortunatelly…
Since the start wow has been a Subscription game, it still is and to keep worse creeps than the ones we already have I really hope it continues being
Besides, paying for a subscription I get game support, and even if we are not getting any news from Classic or responses or ban to bots. if i open a thicket it gets treated.
I pay a fee to have a descent in-game support, like solving bugs, killing goldfarming bots and Alterac Valley Honor sucking Bots …

The only proof that Pservers bring is that people are way more likely to accept a mediocre product if its free.
Im 100% agree with you, its obvious they didnt put too much effort in classic and still getting out big money from it. They dont bann botters they dont balnce they dont do anything good just “fix” fun things like the slam macro or other things that were only ised in pve.
Classic should be free since I already bought the damn game 10 years ago
