S: Dwarves and Taurens
A: Undead and Blood Elves
B: Orcs, Night Elves and Trolls
C: Humans and Draenei
D: Gnomes
S tier races: I love dwarves really cool looking race, I love their racials and generally I just like this race a lot same with taurens I loved how in WT3 they are carrying these huge totems and they just pummel people to death with them, I do love their peaceful lifestyle but if you mess with them they are going to kick your butt.
Blood elves well for me they are drug addicts and Kael’thas was their dealer but eventually they killed their dealer and decided to find their own fix to be again functioning society outside of that I do love how they look, their lore where they struggle with the roaming undead (Arthas courtesy) them feeling abandoned by the alliance and to salten the wound, the night elves are spying and sabotaging their defense system and the fact that Kael’thas just decided to use fel magic as his fix which most elves found to be too hardcore for them.
Undead: I really love their nihilism and their whole aspect of existence, my first toon I ever made was undead, also their lore being hated and hunted down by their former human allies who instead of accepting them just started to purge them with intentions to reclaim their homes, most of them are former citizens of lordaeron and seeing how they are hunted and their homes taken I do love it.
only issue two issues which prevents them from being S tier is you can only play as human undead, you cannot be night elf undead or dwarf undead or even orc undead, it’s just humans and I always wished to see more variants of undead to be playable and second reason is that their storylines are destroying the whole morally grey aspect of both factions with them being obviously evil.
Trolls: I find them to be the most stupid horde race in vanilla wow in their lore they got always curbstomped by other troll tribes, in WT3 you are saving them, in Wow they live like homeless people in orcs settlements and they even share same starting location with orcs, they have no self respect at all and in most of their storylines in the game, they always get stomped by everyone.
Orcs: honestly where did they come from? I know from Draenei but like where did they come from? Humans are just cursed weak mini versions of vrykul but where did they orcs come from? I’m giving them solid B nothing bad about them but also nothing too exciting about them
Night Elves: Okay this was hard, their lore is actually interesting and their storylines were cool in WT3 but in WoW they really watered them down and kinda removed all these interesting things about them so I rated them B tier if we rated them for their WT3 storylines and lore they would be A tier race.
Humans: Honestly humans in warcraft are literally malformed vrykul which are also a curse to the vrykul race solely just how weak they are and they are generally bland as a race.
Draenei: Okay I found Draenei storyline to be really stupid yeah they came from the outland but how come they have space ships and other races don’t? They also retconned them so many times it’s just dumb
Gnomes: Yeah basically smaller dwarves with same curse and story like humans also they are supposed to be genius race yet they managed to nuke their own home and now they live like hobos in dwarves capital, not to mention how stupid they look basically i see them as the worst alliance race.
