When Classic transitions to TBC, will I be able to transfer my character to a Classic Era realm? Has anyone heard anything about this?
I have no interest in playing TBC, but I want to be part of the rush and hype that’s happening over the next year. So, I’m hesitant to stay on Classic Era when it’s likely to be empty in the near future. And Im about to start a new character with some friend, but where? 
Classic era is not gonna be empty in the near future. Sure it will experience a dip in the population for the next two months, but people will be back when they reallize fresh basically is the same but has less content at that time.
My guild, as well as the other groups I raid with on era, are staying. The raid schedule has not changed, and the amount of raids has not been cut back on due to fresh. I recommend you to join us 
Agreed Vanilla > TBC . Or have an option like TBC classic copy character to era and then continue on TBC.
With so many people asking that question, surely there will be an option right.

Me and 3 friends have been playing on Era for a week now and want to join in on the fresh hype since leveling on Era will be quite dead most likely now. We do however NOT want to play TBC. Surely they have to make it possible to move to Era with either a paid or free transfer?

Explain me why did you make a new character on the servers bound to be TBC servers?
I’d like to know this as well - and then I’d like to know it TBC will be an Era TBC or just go on to Wrath, Cata and so on …
And pretty please, I’d like the same for the HC server - wiz TBC Era for both normal and HC, and transfer off to Classic Era for all whh does not want TBC.
I hope that no transfer is allowed. Fresh players currently have it much easier than era players.
Fresh players should then receive their own server.
If transfer is only allowed once TBC hits, most would have levelled to 60 long ago anyway. And most of us on the Era server had it the “easy” way when they launched in 2019. I really see no problem here.
but then dual spec is on era #nochanges?? classic Andys united!!!

Of course to go to the Era server you loose what’s not Era same as happened to the SoM characters.
Dual Spec would not carry over from Anniversary to Era, same as insta-mail and buff limitation.
