I apologise if this has been asked already. I wanted to test out classic vanilla servers, capped at 60. Where do I go for that? My friend said a while back Mirage raceway is one, but hes got level 61s-65s on there… So where are the strictly level 60 servers found?
Your friend is right, but you need to pick the correct game version when you log in: World of Warcraft Classic (instead of Wrath of the Lich King Classic).
Mirage Raceway is a PvE server in the Pyrewood Village cluster, and is the best choice for Classic PvE.
However, the Firemaw cluster is having a higher population, but is a PvP server.
You need to choose World of Warcraft Classic on the drop down “Game Version” in the launcher and press play. There are 3 options on the realm list, Choose Classic Era.
All PvE realms are connected, except the RP ones. There are two PvP realm groups, one is high population and the other is low. So if you want PvP choose the Firemaw group.
