Hi, i wanna ask someting when you play wow classic and you put it on ultra are you playing with retail graphics or is it still vanila ?? Also if blizz updates the retail wow graphics does classic also get them?

Setting 3 (as it tells you) is the top end Classic Graphics. The rest are modern enhancements.
No, the textures and models are Vanilla but they used a Legion engine as the base.
He probably asked because he hasnât installed Classic yet, and wanted an answer to this before trying itâŚ

So A) not bothering to check which part of the forum they are posting in and B) hasnât even bothered to install the game yet they are making repeated posts about it in the wrong section of said forum.

Probably because for weeks now half of the retail general forums are just classic troll threads, hence people who are actually playing retail, not classic are a touch fed up with seeing classic stuff in the retail forums.
And unfortunately, while I am sure there is plenty of lovely people playing classic, the incessant, petty, and in some instances, outright nasty, trolling about how terrible retail is and how stupid we must be to play it, has resulted in the classic community as a whole being painted as such. The same old story, a few bad ones ruin it for everyone else.

Weird parallels. I wouldnt say its weird to propose a question regarding huawei phones on an iphone general forum discussion. Itâs called âgeneralâ for a reason. A broad variety of questions can be asked.
If you check, you will clearly see that this âgeneral discussionâ part of the forums is for âgeneral discussions ABOUT CURRENT WOWâ. In fact below the âcommunityâ part (which the general discussion forum is part of) it clearly says âdiscuss the world of warcraftâ. You cannot start a thread here about what bread people prefer or what color their pee was this morning. Those things are off topic for the forum. As is Classic. More so because that particular topic has its own place (where it clearly states itâs meant for discussing all things World of Warcraft Classic - Which means Blizzard themselves view those 2 games as seperate), where people can discuss it ad nauseum.

I have a feeling your reaction is out of a disdain for classic rather than someone posting something in a wrong section of the wow forums. I see plenty of topics made that might be better suited under a different section of the forums (class specific or guide to new players for example). Yet when its about classic people tend to react more outraged.
