If you are new to the Vindicaar IC, then you may wait next to the large crystals inside the Traders’ Tier. (IC this would be the teleportation platform area.)
You will be greeted by guides who will lead you through the various hallways of the Vindicaar toward the meeting hall on the 2nd level.

I would like to thank everyone for attending! An update of things to come will be posted tomorrow as I do not wish to spoil IC information before the end of tomorrow’s gathering!
40+ people attending was a delight to Vy’luun’s right remaining eye!

It really was great. Loved the little bit of IC difference of opinions amongst the draenei on certain matters.
Today marks the second day of the first meeting.
Those who couldn’t attend yesterday will be able to be part of the opening ceremony and speech as if it was the first day.
After the official introductions we will continue some of the talks of yesterday but are also curious to see other topics rise up during the meeting.

I want to thank everyone who has managed to attend during the last two days, and also those who wanted to but couldn’t - fear not, we will return!
A summary of all things IC will follow, and plans for various topics discussed will be released most likely this week, but maybe not today.
For the next meeting we will work on even more structure but also offer lenient, open phases of discussion. As those who had gathered will certainly know, things are now in motion that cannot be undone. At least, we hope so!
I will leave you with a word of thanks to the people having worked as guides, Phaidros, Skaro, Tazilight, Lazaares and Urlauub.
And thank you to all of you, who accepted the little fires here and there, the missing of raised hands or the chaotic wording of some of our desires. We will surely work together to resolve issues that arose and we will definitely come out stronger and more unified, if we actually believe in it.
I do. And I will continue to do so.

**The Hour of Light II: "Voices Returning"**

You had heeded the call, you had found yourself on the Vindicaar and you had taken part in the first gathering of all!
Vy’luun had sent out further letters, asking even more Draenei to return to the Vindicaar for the second gathering of all. She had listed various topics that were discussed and asked for everyone’s input prior to the meeting at the end of the coming month.
1.) The Gathering of All
So many had come, too many for a single Draenei without a secretary, but she had made do with what she could offer to all of them. She had let them speak as she deemed that all needed to be heard, small or tall, known or unknown, they were amongst equals and as equals she intended to treat all of them, always.
They had discussed a variety of topics, some stood out more than others and needed to be postponed to further meetings, and some would not easily be solved - even with them coming together in unison.
2.) The Words of the Many
Prominent topics of the first gathering had been …
- Lightforged teleportation beacons being placed all around Azeroth over the next few years; this had led to a heated debate whether Lightforged could ever be allowed to wield such a technology without being able to wholly share it with other races, considering the fact that even regular Draenei would be partially excluded.
- The desire to unite and come together regularly had been strongly voiced by all of the Draenei gathered. There was too much to discuss, too many people needed to be heard, too many thoughts and memories discussed. There would be more meetings, at least once per month.
- Celebrating the end of the Draenei exodus and the finalized arrival on Azeroth after the reunion between Lightforged and regular Draenei. Furthermore, the defeat of the Legion and the integration into the Alliance as members of the same race.
Excerpt from Vy’luun’s speech
Rekindling of Unity
“First and foremost, we must rekindle the unity of our kin. We have grown accustomed to living between the various races of Azeroth, we have ventured all across this planet and in this we have grown apart.”
“I believe it is time that we remember who we could be. Not only on Argus, no, but also who we were traveling on Genedar and Xenedar, who we were on Draenor, and who we could have been.”
“We must find ourselves. We must reunite a long lost feeling that we can call our own. We must be one … once more.”
The Festival of Light
“To find what was lost and what has remained, I beseech you to aid me in the creation of a festivity that unites all of what we are, all the various aspects of our culture and race. A festival of Light, a memorial, a unification. For all of the Alliance, under our guidance.”
“Because in this celebration we may find a spark that lights the way toward the end times, toward peace somewhere in the future. Because we are reunited after thousands of years of war. Because we will not part again.
Because now, we are one.”
For the second gathering of all, Vy’luun has tasked all Draenei with taking in consideration what shaped their race. She asked them to remember who they were, who they are and who they intend to be. With these questions she let them go into the night and so they returned to Azeroth, deep in thought.
This gathering would be held again on the Vindicaar, 2nd floor, meeting hall. This time there would be more structure but also periods not centered on one speaker. It would be about all of them, anyone could bring questions and thought to the gathering, and all of their help would be needed to figure out who they were and what they stood for.

The whole covid lockdown thing has messed with my sense of time as well, but August 1st is still a good 4 weeks away.

It was fun being near the front of Draenei RP again, speaking and roleplaying. =]
Another month till the next cycle, a month to sort people out, and perhaps find some context/structure for all these meetings IC. I am glad it will be on the actual vindicaar next month! As much as I love Exodar, it and the Vindicaar are very different; also MAH IMMURSHAN x]
I spoke at length at the meeting regarding the draenei people as a whole, and while generally well received by everyone, OOCly, I do look forward to the opportunity to work with others, and even present, or attend, joint guild events or perhaps forming a Draenei war council later down the line for campaigns like we have done in the past. =]

You are right, Zehkokan. The reason for the Exodar-usage was explained and reasonable enough, at least for a first get-together. Noone knew how many of us would show up and now that we have a sort of grasp of the numbers, ranging from 40-70 people, we can at least set up warlock teleportation means for lower leveled characters.
Regarding plans for the 2nd meeting, this is for everyone:
- big update following probably this weekend
- please inform Draenei who are not on the discord once new information is made public
- please try to make people aware of the Draenei discord or of this thread

To all Draenei roleplayers
Try to think about what shapes our race, what is unique to us and what your character specifically would enjoy showing to the other races of the Alliance.
It could be anything from “how to tame an Elekk” over “I can cook these very delicious biscuits” to “crystaline weapon forging”.
We would love to talk in depth about the festival during the Gathering II.
