Collector's edition box in bad shape

I think, that warlock is the one class in wow, that will always be designed amazingly. It’s weird/sad, that we can’t say this about hunter/mage as other pure ranged dps

C’moon, huntar is always the safe bet. They are default new players class. Mages were always on the top of damage meters until SL. But they are still safe bet because they have always a good/meta spec.

But I can’t say the same for warlocks. If it is not OP and meta, it will be a terrible choice due to lack if survivalibilty and mobility.

They don’t even have an interrupt if they are not ready come to close quarters. And I think this was a joke later becomes truth due to a misunderstanding. Cloth wearer don’t have an interrupt.

Mages weren’t fun gameplay-wise in SL. I only played it, because I like the class fantasy lol

Doesn’t hunter have this problem, that they have no raid utility, or did they fix it?

Warlock on the other hand has such a smooth intuitive rotation, really nice design in various ways, and the class just feels so powerful, when you play it, regardless of its actual perfomance, unlike the clunky mage, that feels like a wet noodle outside of cooldowns, and requires you to have group coordination, or you have to play hit and run like a monkey. I will probably change main to evoker though. Mages are sadly not fun, even though being a pyro/kryo caster would be really cool

Playing mage is realy boring, I can’t deny it.

0n the other hand, warlock rotation with high haste, is always fun. But problem with warlock is, when you hit you should see the damage otherwise investing time and efford on it would be big mistake that even lead someone to quit in the middle of season by shelving the char.

Playing huntar is also very boring but it is near impossible end like worst scenario on warlock.

Evoker is a closed pandoras box right now. It has low survavilability and boring rotation. Very dangerous pick.

Do you have an order confirmation?

Yep. I had to fight to be able to pay (my main bank doesn’t like Blizzard’s gear store, like many others apparently), but everything seems to be in order once I got past that barrier.

This has been a concern for me. Have not gotten the package yet, so i dont know in what condition it would be. Thankfully WoW Collectors boxes aree quite sturdy unlike others.

Since even the more local web stores have always been delivering the WoW collectors bozes in sturdy bigger box to keep the precious collectors box inside, i assumed this would be the case with Gear store as well.

I do admit, that i do like the idea of more environmental friendly delivcery methods including delivery boxes, but to consider plastic bubble bag vs traditional cardboard box, the caredboard box requires less energy to recycle and the material is also more reusable in many way even at home, like all my previous cardboard boxes from the collectors editions are still being used as my cats beds <3

To add to that, considering how much unnecessary transport bad packaging cause. Thats not very good either. Better to use good, recycleable cardboard boxes that keep products intact instead of bad plastic bags which make the actual product turn to waste as well as need for triple transport. delivery, return, redelivery. So much unnecessary waste of time and resources.

In any case, i hope we all get our games in good shape and also remember, that something being digital does not make it outright environmental friendly. The IT infrastructure as a whole also needs its resources.

So of us do find it nice to have something to hold on to and have as keepsakes. For many, it has nothing to do with monetary value but its more sentimental. Is that sentimentality wise or reasonable is other thing completely. It is also nice to have physical copies of stuff because digital world is not really that safe. Everything can just go poof by some series of events. Its nice to have some cd’s to listen to if internet for some reason is down or have some game as physical copy to install if net is down. Currently there are few cables running in bottom of baltic ocean where majority of data we have for entertainment purposes is flowing. Our lovely neighbour country may decide to do some “nasty tricks” to cut a vulnerable connection out to just inconvenience people to influence them to do bad decisions. If this happens, pririty for remaining data for period until repairs can be done is prioritized for critical data, not for music or movies. Its nice to have some music and movies plus tv series to watch if this happens.

There is also the historical value of physical copies of different things like music, movies and today, also software. Many of the old movies we see as iconic in movie history would not have survived in todays world as just digital copies. Digital is not a safe way to keep anyt kind of data and this is why even today, really important data is still kept as hard copies and even while we now do digital copies and remasters of those historical films, we still also make new physical copies of them so that they will stay for generations to come. I dont see why games and other software would be any different. We dont place much value on them now, but some day these will be parts of history, especially games like Warcraft which allready has made its mark on gaming history.

when i buy something that i care i go personally make the deal.

or i dont buy it at all.

Build quality differs from the earlier CE’s. Now those used to be sturdy.

I know what you ment but had to reread.

I was like, why would they send him the corner off the box? Since that’s damage  .

That’s because off the catastrophy with Xbox series s and PS5’s on release.
They got stolen by delivery drivers and stuff…
Nintendo made sure that never happens to their products.

I’d rahter they send me a replacement. I’ll settle for just an empty box.

That’s what I ment.
Sorry, I got myself confused with thoughts

Same here. just arrived

Packaging is really bad

It’s a very pretty box, seen plenty shared on discord, twitter, reddit etc. I also understand it’s nice to collect them and some even display them.

This was a friend’s, arrived all in one piece, no damage.

I live in Sweden but i do not really know what is going on with the shipping company right now…

My collectors was sent the 3 November and the day after it i got a message from the shipping company that it is delayed due to unforseen events.

My Collectors Edition is right now being sent back and forth between the same two cities in Germany. :frowning:
