Command Table Mission LVL

Hi,

Can anyone please explain how is mission lvl determined in covenant command table? My fiancee has a following problems:

  1. She has very few (around 5) missions available
  2. Missions that she has available are on lvl 12, with once mission on lvl 14.

Her companions are mostly lvl 18, with 1 being lvl 19 and then two companions on lower lvl (13 and 8 repsectively). She is I think up to date with renown - currently lvl 12.

In the same circumstances as above (we play together) I have much more missions available and on much higher lvl like lvl 19 and even for soul ash.

We have also quite similar item lvl. So basically in the similar circumstances I have much better experience with command table than her.

Sorry if that was sufficiently explained already elsewhere, but I couldn’t find it either here or on wowhead guides…

I got soul ash mission when my companions were lvl 14 and some ppl had nothing before lvl 20.

My highest companion is lvl 20 and I have mission lvl 24 and mission for a lot of things: item lvl 171, reputation, stygies, golds etc …

I think it’s because I always do the mission who reward https://www.wowhead.com/currency=1889/adventure-campaign-progress

I think the command table is broken to be honest - I have missions i greatly overpower the opposition, but then fail, and I’m talking by hundreds of points of damage. then other missions where its the other way around, they should wipe the floor with me, yet I win. I only ever have 2 anima missions, a gear mission an XP mission and a gold mission available. that’s it no other types.

So so broken. You either fail missions you should logically succeed at or dont get the right level missions to begin with.
My poor alt has all lvl 6 guys at the moment and only elite level 7 missions to do. TBH I usually only send my lot out on 1 mission a day then forget about it…that way its less stressful and I dont have to waste anima upgrading it!

she needs to finish campaign missions to push table campaign further - then missions around 23-26 will aprear . including exp misisons that reward much more exp then the level 12 ones. there is no point delaying campaign missions

The new mission tables are the biggest clusterfukc i’ve seen in any expansion, i bet that whoever designed this one has no idea where he was going with it or how to make it work.

This.

I can have two level 20 Elite quests and one will have double the HP and Attack power as the other one. How does that even work?

You literally have no clue if a mission is going to be complete unless you fully outlevel it.

I’ve also had missions where my Hp and attack power was more but still lost. Dumb system.

Thank you Lilîith and Linå for your info. If it werent for you and other players on this forum I wouldnt have a clue on how the mission table works

(I still only have a partial idea but I guess Blizz dont really know what they’re doing with missions either)

Oh trust me, outlvling doesn’t do shish, i have 6 companions at level 26 and 1 at 20 who’s supposed to be a “healer” as he has the sign but never seen him heal, and i still lose some low level mission.

This is the reason your fiancee gets lowlvl missions. Tell her to level them up and see if that helps.

thats because you didnt read their description - you cannot only depend on health and atack .

for example for night fae for level 20 ash missions you need 4 trapers and dreamwiever- even though they have much less hp and atack power then oponenes - instead as would seem as logical choice 5 heroes.

i would suggest reading about table on wowhead. they have very good desription there and in comments for particular quests there are some strategy advices.

Can you link it here please? because i have a level 20 Soul ash mission that i’d really like to complete and my companions are 6 levels over but still doesn’t look like they can win it.

As venthyr, i got a healer (Kaletar) who is virtually useless, level 27 and still has a heal that only heals for 20 ish every 4 rounds.

I get absolutely clapped on soul ash missions because i simply have no way to healing my squad.

The table missions feel broken and there has been little to no word on any of this from Blizz’s side, and i feel they are still pretty important with the extra soul ash.

The SL mission tables are completely useless apart from farming small amounts of anima.
Sould Ash missions are broken. They cost too much, take too long and you never win. Missions for mats don’t always give what they say and xp missions are pointless because as you level your followers the ash mission just become a higher level meaning you still can’t win.
Completely pointless investing in them beyond the 1st tier

I win a soul ash mission lvl 20 with a companion lvl 19 and trooper lvl 18.
You have to read the ability of your companion and the ennemy and place your companions in the right order.

Some companion increase damage, other reduce damage of oponent, etc …

I do a lot of mission with only 1 companion and full of troopers and at least 1 healers sometimes 2. I almost always win.

For those who don’t know troopers can be use multiple time, in the same mission and different mission.

Yeah the command table feels a lot squint atm and the soul ash is just fail after fail so I stopped bothering.

Yeah i know i’ve been doing exactly that, but Kyrian Soul Ash missions are just not happening!

Also its a noisance that the fact my extra troops (not main comps) get lowered in exp whenever I unlock a new companion. I litterally have to spam 11 hour exp missions to get that one companion up first

her heals heal every round, though she is still useless, because she doesn’t attack at all and her heal doesn’t make difference.
