You’ll have most luck on Argent Dawn if you ever want to roleplay.

While true, there is some RP on Moonglade/TheSha’tar/Steamwheedlecartel.
There are a lot of guilds you just have to know where to look.
On Alliance, type /join LookingforRP, on Horde, type /join RPSocial.
Doing this, you will be in a chat with some of the RPers (Not all) and you can take it from there.
On Alliance, Refuge of the Lost.
On Horde, The Beastmaw Warband and Hand of the Titans.
Those three are very welcoming guilds. Refuge isn’t strictly RP, but they do go to majority of the RP events.
The other two are a bit more professional, and tend to run the RP events themselves.

Thank you! Can you tell me please, maybe you know or have heard, is there any Pandaren RP guilds? Or where usually Pandaren people RP.

Unfortunately my knowledge of RP on Argent Dawn isn’t heavy.
I used to be a high rank in the only Pandaren RP guild on Alliance, Tushui, then Tushui Du, then… a few other names which escape my brain. Argent Dawn has had a history of races like Pandaren and Gnomes having segregated guilds to themselves, and those guilds falling through because another guild for that race popped up, and people inevitably argued OOCly (Out of characterly) “You’re stealing our gnomes!” - Said the idiot confused about how multiplayer games work.

I don’t know specific guilds right now, but I’d say your best bet is to go to the AD forums, (Or Moonglade/sha’tar/steamwheedle if you like a quieter but still fulfilling RP life.) and seek out a guild that accepts Pandaren, but doesn’t specialise in them.

Just a word to the wise, avoid the PCU if you do go AD. While some of their ranks are friendly, majority are not. A fair bit of trans/homophobia and general ignorance. PCU guilds are helpful though, as they are clearly marked. Makes them easier to avoid! XD

Admits not knowing much about Argent Dawn RP

Advises against joining the largest and most active community there based on rumours

Read for yourself. The PCU’s got the Ronin as an active, 100% Pandaren guild that’s been around for a long while now. Alternatively got the Far Delvers who are more a neutral / Black Market guild with part-Pandaren leadership.

PCU means little more than a guarantee for decent RP and activity. Unless you enjoy ERP, in which case you’ll be promptly removed.

PCU also means heavy elitism, phobia and a constant dismissal of anyone who is not them.

But I’m not on the forums to argue, I’ve said my piece.

Can you provide evidence of either of those, friend?

The elitism is there for sure; but I’d rather call it quality control. New players are welcomed and aided greatly.

There’s a whole, I think the site is Tumblr, with screenshots and the like.
I’ve had my own experiences, and they are why I typically play on Moonglade instead of AD. But I’d rather not drag them out into here as I enjoy my peace and would rather not dredge up old hat with the PCU again.
I believe the Tumblr is Consequences of Argent Dawn. I did reach out to them to confirm that it wasn’t just some mad ramblings, and my own experiences matches a lot of what’s on their Tumblr.
If you don’t take it as evidence, that’s your prerogative, but I, and a lot of my friends have had terrible dealings with the PCU and their chaotic wave of filth they spread to ruin other guilds.

A friend of mine felt need to quit WoW for a while and disband his guild because the PCU had a dislike for him OOCly.
I know of a few communities who have RP events in discrete places, because the PCU are not to be included.

So yeah, I’m not trying to start an argument here, I just think it’s fair that the Pandaren who started this post, know that the PCU are best left to their own devices, and he should try and seek out a nice happy peaceful guild who want to focus on RP, not server domination.

There was more than one Tumblr; one of them was recently banned for harassment. I believe that should tell the full story there. All those are infamous for taking quotes and forum posts wholly out of context, sometimes even omitting likes and replies to frame them better.

Nothing specific.

Nothing specific.

Nothing specific.

And the “I just” erases that whole statement.

You warned a new player not to join the largest RP community on EU realms without providing any specific qualms or information, or without even linking the community’s thread.

You are arguing with bad faith here and with ulterior motives. This is exactly the attitude that taints the roleplay community and seeing it I am glad you chose Moonglade over Argent Dawn.

Dodging and evading, very typical of the PCU.
I have a lot of friends who hate the PCU, they don’t wish to be named, I trust their judgement, I share their judgement, this pandaren wants a friendly guild to join, I am sharing my opinion. That is all that is happening here.

If he wants to join the PCU, that is his prerogative. I am just warning him that if he does, he might have a bad time, or very possibly a good time at the expense of others.

It says a lot that ‘I have a friend who disbanded his guild because of you’ is ‘not specific enough’.
And no, I know I can’t reason with you, or explain, you just see me as ‘Not PCU’ and therefore anything I say is wrong and dismissable.

I’m not being specific, because friends who have been involved with the PCU, have been left so scarred by the experience, they are afraid to be mentioned. For fear that they will be hounded down.

Edit: I would like to note, I don’t encourage harassment of anyone, PCU or non PCU. I’d rather everyone could just live and let live. But in my experience, the PCU have not been able to let this happen. That said, I still don’t encourage revenge harassment. I encourage people who don’t like the PCU, or are unsure of it, to just avoid it, live and let live. Go their own way.

That’s fine and all, it’s unreasonable to tell you to not trust your friends.
In general the PCU only asks that you don’t use OOC in IC channels, try to avoid power emoting in RP combat and do not ERP.
The last one seems to be a large source of controversy for a lot of people.

You generally hear a lot of PCU bad as an outsider, then you join and realize most of the PCU bad is usually based on personal vendetta’s and just claims that aren’t true.

@OP
If you’re still searching, the guild Ronin on AD is a lovely group of Pandaran who are convincing in the RP they do, have a nice authentic Pandaran feel
