Ah come on, not even close. Condemn / Gushing are equivalent, shifting power and ineffable are not even close to being equivalent of power (assuming you were max-stacking both gushing and ineffable).
You repeating that over and over again does not make it true. How can a passive bleed be equivalent to an active ability? What next, are you going to say that Aimed Shot is the same as Gushing because it does ~30% of hunter’s damage?
Coldshade is entirely in the right here, Condemn definitely needs to be nerfed somehow, but you cant compare a passive dmg proc to Condemn, a modified execute that also has a cost requirement.

Im comparing borrowed powers. Of course im not saying that a passive stupid dmg proc is the same as condemn and i dont think i have during this thread. Im just saying that i think its extremely wierd that a class with already great damage gets a borrowed power which accounts for 30% of their damage, just like the borrowed power gushing wound did.
Is there any other spec that has a covenant spell that deals the same amount of damage?
Most other over the top covenant spells deal one shot damage, or at least rng, one shot damage. But since they are up only during burst windows it doesn’t really compare to condemn imo.
Personally I find condemn to be a horrible talent. It’s not just too strong, it’s downright dumb. But sure, guess it gives me more food to the zugzug jokes, so guess that’s a positive.
Because every covenant abilities should cover every role the class can play, the absorb is there for prot war basically, and is greatly nerfed for arms and fury.
Condemn replaces Execute. It’s like complaining about Mongoose Bite when it was still used, because it replaces Raptor Strike. Talents are borrowed power just as much as covenants are.
Ability =/= passive on items. Start understanding the difference. And for what it’s worth, I do think Condemn is too powerful, but so are a plethora of other things that are in my opinion far more gamebreaking. Like RMx.

No overbuff disney covenant so they have to play it.
