So PVP gear is capped, with the benefit getting smaller as PVE gear rises in ilvl, but retains a 4 ilevel edge. Doesn’t that mean that there is still a driver for PVE Maxers to gear via PVP?
The driver to gear for PVE via PVP is gone.
I don’t get why we have to spend 10 posts slowly re-reading the text in the first one. Maybe read it in full by yourself?
How fast can you get that gear, via Honour and Conquest?
One week for honor (only have to get 158 for it to become 220 in bgs / arenas), half of the season for conquest.
That’s what I thought.
maybe that will stop the gladiator boost community for pve people so that a noob like me have a chance to climb the ladder and have a chance ^^.
I would appreciate a system which is strictly split among pve and pvp. But then they need to fix the pve gear system and valor atm is not the solution. item level is still lower than pvp.
a dream come true!
this was my sugestion in legion lol
DO THIS BLIZZARD
so you did think?
pretty nice to gear an alt in one (maybe even less) week and then just go go full pvp (wich was all you did in that week you played as well)!
if they do this they can do what ever the hell they want with the pve gear imho
So being showered in gear is actually fine, as long as you are grinding AV?
this changes pvp my dude
you can just pve all you want just not gain from that time invested in pvp, sweet huh?
WoD system is love, WoD system is life.
Bring it back, it was the best pvp gearing system we had thus far, with no forced crossover.
its for PVP, dont you get that?
Some players like being able to choose which side of the game they can source their gear from and see the current system as more flexible.
It’s not about being showered in gear. The initial shower is just making you competitive and is soon over. Then you PVP without caring about the gear much, sometimes (rarely) buying pieces for conquest. Half a season after you max out and even conquest doesn’t matter any more. You just PVP.
It’s the opposite of being showered in gear, it’s relaxing and liberating.
If I can grind AV for gear, then I am still gaining and faster than through PVE, especially since we have people also wanting to not have an honour cap and to make honour account wide.
my dude,
with this system you cant transfer your pve power to pvp and thats why its good!
Maybe there are some players like that, but the vast majority are either mainly PVE or mainly PVP and prefer it that way. That’s why PVE and PVP have to be separated in terms of gear.
what does it matter?
the pvp gear is only for instanced pvp
Because if a player can get geared for PVE faster through PVP, then they are going to PVP… just like now.
