Considering Some Semi-weekly World Quests Becoming Daily

Expecting “traditional flying” when it does come to require something like renown 20 with the factions?

So basically what your saying is.

Youve done every side quest.

Youve done ur proffessions to max and earnt all the specialization points avaliable uptoo now.

Youve done your weekly events.

Youve done every WQ avaliable.

Youve gotten 6/6 wraithon/seballion reputations

Downed avaliable rares.

Done the dailies every day.

Done all m+0 dungeons.

Youve progressed ur 70 campaign as far as todays able renowns managed.

On multiple characters.

Because lets be clear, content you dont want to do, doesnt mean content isnt there, it also doesnt make the game a raid logging game either.

Slept on it. Still a great decision. well played blizz!

i don’t even have a 2nd 70 , i said ‘‘people’’ already done those you can go check some streams if you don’t believe me , for me , i’ve done wqs, events(i think all of them) killed many rares, done all m0s but the rest does not reward me . i don’t need to kill every rare , you can’t push your renown to limits without scout packs and that’s the least fun thing to do. i’m not looking for chores, there is just not much REWARDING stuff to do. there isn’t enough engaging content atm. killing rares that don’t give anything or random mail stuff to my mage isn’t content. i want to grind renown but there isn’t much to do about that at this point like i said, it’s not worth doing trying to farm a single artifact for 15 rep or something. why do i have to be a loremaster to achieve regular stuff ? even if you do it’s still not enough content.

lol rare one time monster is content. man Blizzard loves you :stuck_out_tongue:

races? again a one time thing that offers nothing, really. professions for non raiders why?

So, the best you can list is rep grinds amazing :stuck_out_tongue: We surely are spoiled for content.

On the other hand I really enjoy hunting down scouting packs…just because you dont find some content fun and dont want to do it doesnt mean there isnt anything to do.

This game has to appeal to a broad spectrum of players with completely varied and opposing interests, that means that some of the content you wont want do (like me with any kind of mythic or PVP content).
If it has the perfect content for you then chances are it will be terrible for 90% of everybody else!

Don’t really mind either way, there’s no FOMO for me. Some days I might do all world quests, and others do none at all.

Depends on what I feel like doing when logging in.

Maybe they should give emissaries back, put the rep in there. Make the world quests reward only gold and gear and put them back on a shorter timer. then those who want to do a ton of world quests can do them and the rest can do their handfull every three days or 4 each day or however it seems convenient for anyone?

Thank you for the change.

I can’t believe how many ppl think they “HAVE” to do the WQs every day…
Step outside, touch some grass.
You won’t die if you don’t do the WQs for a day…

If you think WQs are chores, concider your relationship with videogames…

i did not say that they should remove the content YOU enjoy, i just said there isn’t enough engaging content . if you enjoy collecting scouting packs then thats nice you have something to do, i don’t. lots of people are like me so you are trying to keep the content you enjoy while standing against something we want to do. that’s hypocrisy.

hardly, twitch and wowhead are just the loudest raiderfans, especially twitch is just full of “hardcore” people that don’t give a damn about people who prefer to play more casual speeds…but it will become another deadzone, since the other content like hunts and black dragon stuff is non-soloable either so will be dead soon enough.

I too enjoy looking at my map and seeing nothing worthwhile doing, and logging off.

but muh fear of missing out, if I dont want to do daily WQ’s, no one should !

Good change, the mindless daily content just pushes away the room that could be there for people to experience the game itself. The whole “i log in, clear WQs’s, log off” is just very destructive, specially for development of actual interesting world content.
There are a lot of facebook games out there already.

Nice raid/m+ or die mentality.

For some people outdoor is their content, and this removes their right to such content.

Yeah… except now it’s… “I log in, I see an empty map, I log off”… The map is empty, the world events don’t give proper rewards except weekly, there are no daily quests, rares don’t make sense to kill past first kill… There is literally no daily repeatable content that is enjoyable or rewarding except rare-elites.

Cool, nice to see some good news at the end of the day.
Huge thank you for rolling this back!
This is a great change for anyone who doesn’t want to feel like missing out on the regular rep/proff progression and also wants to do other content or just create alts and do it all again!

I’m a mythic raider and key pusher and I was one of the people who was happy about the change to daily WQs.

Doing all the available WQs (in a specific zone) has only ever been ‘obligatory’ for me if I’m farming rep for the unlimited use rune that comes available in the final content patch. And that’s only obligatory because I want the reusable one rather than paying for the single use ones.

I’ve never done every WQ. Even with them bi-weekly as they are, I’ve only done the ones that reward something I specifically want. The complaints weren’t from raiders and key pushers who don’t bother with WQs most of the time anyway, but from casual players who don’t want to log in every day but feel like they’re missing out if they don’t do all the world content.

Nobody cares. Kaivax, can I get a refund since you guys are deleting DKs from pvp?

lets put raids and pvp on a long cooldown too, one boss per week and 1 battleground per week as well…since we don’t want others to miss out…
