What I am wondering about is when is 2x4 being fixed? Clearly this is an exploit.
it’s not an exploit and there is no way to fix it other than changing the whole mob tagging system and turning back to old brutal way which is outdated .
post edited.
It is an exploit because it is an unintended bug that came with this feature.
Its intended for five people to be tagging a mob. Not 8.
This is also very easely fixable for developers because all it takes is a this group tagged so if another group tags that has more then the ordinairy lootable amount of people it should simply be greyed out.
lol and with that update back to pointless logging in without raiding or M+ GG Blizzard lets see how many subs you lose listing to the minority
it’s not an exploit or a bug, it’s how that system works. it isn’t something that requires too much thinking to discover so i’m sure devs were aware of the situtation. if they don’t allow it and let it be greyed out like you said, that would mean turning back to old way which was boring , annoying and outdated way to do quests and leveling, don’t look at this just like a farm mechanic. you wouldn’t be able to kill a world boss or rare with multiple other players.
How can you say this is not an explot because you’re someone of your selfish antics?
What old way are you reffering too? All people have wanted is to allow quest and importnant mobs to be cross faction tagged. Thats all there was to that. No 4x2groups, thats really selfish play. Either fill up, pick a spot, stay at your spot. Stop hogging every mob for your group because you’re also not delisting your’full’ groups from the finder making it unnesesairy hard for other people to find actual groups.
i wasn’t in any of those farming groups because i don’t have a druid at 70. you clearly don’t know what exploit is, this is just a way to farm more efficiently it’s like min maxing for farmers. asking for nerfs or solutions for your finder issues might be more logical then saying it’s an exploit lol.
there is plenty of content and daily world quests wouldn’t fill that void either. Gathering, events, dragon races, pet battling, outdoor achievements… I don’t see how daily world quests fills a perceived content void.
I loved the change to bi-weekly world quests. It’s less pressure to do them on a given day when there’s a reward that is good for more than 1 character and I don’t have much time on that specific day. There’s so much to do, daily world quests just add pressure.
Okay, I dont have a 70 dracthyr either?
(Hint hint, I do have a 70 druid)
Dont know why you have to mention that?
Not gonna weigh in on the should they, or should they not have WQs that spawn more frequently debate, because i don’t really care either way. But…
For Blizzard to announce something only to reverse the decision a few hours later is… well… really bad. Clown fiesta bad.
Glad to hear the idea was dropped. Content being be-weekly was one of the things that had me excited for DF as a person with several hobbies and a full-time job. The current pace of bi-weekly content finally makes it feel like a game, not a chore, again.
because those groups are usually druids/monks and you thought i was in them.
This. It’s not the subject that concerns me, it’s the execution.
Circus.
Maybe because we play every. single. day?
Myself, I pull 10 hour days. I’d rather do something that isn’t “tab out and wait for my alchemy fail timer to be up”.
Wohoo \o/
Thank you for this post mister Kaivax!
There was barely anyone who wanted this, only some people on the forums did from what i found out on wowhead, reddit & forums
Its pretty safe to say they listened to the majority and not the minority
I am quite happy the WQ are not daily. Why aren’t there more daily quests though?
I’m confused. They were going to make the bi-weekly WQs reset into a daily reset and then just before they did it went “actually nah”?
Mmmkay
i realy hope you do it , would greatly speed up the rep gathering proces as it is the main source of end game gear for a lot of casuals and for some strange reason the raiding and mythic+ ppl can’t stand that.
