Constant 500-1000ms and eventually the game world stops (but won't disconnect)

Hi all!

So, since Saturday I started getting constantly very high world latency. On login I have around 200-300ms, but then it settles at 500ish ms, with some spikes to 1000ms. Even though the game says it’s 500-1000, if I start casting or w/e, it usually takes around 4-5 seconds for the cast to start, which is almost double the latency.

I use a wired connection with a Cat-8 cable (that I bought at the start of April).

Then, after a while (anywhere between 5-20 minutes after login), the game world just stops. I can keep moving, but everything else is frozen and any action I try to do will never start. I don’t get any error or get disconnected. The exit button on the game menu also doesn’t work. It just stays like this until I Alt-F4.

I’ve tried:

• Removing all addons, WTF and temporary files (as stated here)
• Keeping the router turned off for a couple of minutes
• Relasing+renewing ipconfig and flushing the DNS
• Changing my DNS, trying automatic DHCP, manual Google DNS and manual Cisco Umbrella DNS.

None of that worked, and I don’t know what else to try. Below are my results from running WinMTR with various DNS and hosts.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, interestingly, sometimes the chat does work while the game is unplayable.

There’s clearly an issue between some spanish ISP and Blizzard.
No response from Blizzard in the spanish forums.
We got a response in the other thread here, but didn’t help much.

Hopefully this issue gets the attention it deserves, since there’s quite a lot of people affected by it.

Extremely High Latency

I completely removed all addons, still the same issue. However, I did try to rename the WTF and Cache folders (WTFOld, CacheOld) and now seems back to normal. Dunno if that fixed it or if it’s just a coincidende. UPDATE: Nevermind, after changing areas the latency appeared again, from los 30s to 700ms. So renaming the folders and entirely removing all addons dind’t work either.
