Continuous Issue of being stuck on Loading Screens

this is getting lovly after 6 weeks still nothing fixed ! i mean is it that big ?is it that bad ?! i just lost another good group for lvl 17 keystone few min ago becuz of loading issue ! to be honest … i dont think if anyone care about what the hell is the problem or what is happening right now . we just want to get it done . we are asking from bllizard to fix this problem . very simple ! how complicated is this to understand ?! after 6 weeks
im really wondering that it took you guys 100 reply from difrent ppl to acsept this problem is coming from blizard side not users ! and now you are just letting everyone know you cant share what is the problem ?:slight_smile: alright budy keep it to your self as we dont really care ! just fix it ! will you ? are you going to atleast say how long it will take to fix it ?! are you even able to fix it ?! do you like to fix it ?! do you know how to fix it ? This issue has started for me around a week ago. It manifests itself with a black character selection screen at times where if i press change realm or create new character it tells me im disconnected.

Other times its just going through different zone changes, for example the portal to silithus or into the chamber of heart where i will get stuck on 70ish %.

I hope the following data can shed a bit of light on things, and that this can be resolved soon as it is quite game breaking. Lost the mini visions a few times to this.

Hey thanks for the effort of making the tests but I think you need to let it run a bit more than 100 hops, prob 500 ish would be more valid. also one tip i learned recently is you can open the test program 3 times and keep them running at same time. usually the way i do it is, I open 3 of the program with 3 EU different IPs and try to enter different dungeon entrances till I get stuck in loading screen, you might want to do this few times till you reach 500 hops or you see some crazy pings under “wrst” section. take a look at my test here… you notice huge spikes and two IPs falling behind others in hops.

I’m beyond frustrated right now. I’ve been having issues for so long it’s making me crazy thinking of every other possible reason as to why I might be lagging.

Ultimately this is a Blizzard issue even though I was told it wasn’t in my other thread.

I cannot play the game.

I just had to stop queueing 3s (with my teammates who maybe have 1 night a week to be able to queue properly) because of this BS. And i’ll hang around for another week now, waiting to play the game again hoping I won’t lag when they’re available but probably fking not because this has been going on for SO long and there has been NO fix.

I have posted about this issue COUNTLESS times now and there is nothing being done about it.

I am beyond done with this.

Hey I understand your frustration, i’ve been having same problems for about 2 months now. can’t do keys, lost more than 20 easy matches around 2,1k mmr due to loading screen taking for ever and eventually kicking me from game…

But on good side from looking at your WinMTR result i can strongly say you’re like the 20th person I’ve seen having huge ping with

This is such an obvious pattern for disaster in a network. no idea what are the network engineers doing right now to fix this…

it’s been like 7 weeks now that the issue persists and blizzard didn’t or couldn’t fix it for any reason, and in my opinion blizzard is just lying about fixing the issue since it didn’t provide any update about the solution so far,

so i am asking about steps and ways so that i can register a complaint from blizzard to any foreign related supervision institution(s), even it shall be provided by you or any other blue posters or related supports here or in other sections, this is an official statement and request.
Providing the regarding steps shouldn’t take more than few minutes but as in law you have 72 hours to provide us with such matter.

The problem seems to be clear as it is, the thing is people are complaining without providing actual valid information to track down the problem or to be sure it’s a common criteria causing problem. Blizzard’s lack of communication is well known through the years and it’s sad but the players themselves are not making this any easier either. we can all come here and go full caps lock mode and yell and demand things but nothing gets fixed, go to the article linked in this thread, download the program and do the test (the right way, do the test when you are stuck, let the test run for at least 5 minutes and do the test for all 3 EU IPs) and then post your results, shouting and yelling never fixed anything and never will, but cooperation will.

The thing is that whilst not many players are happy to share information I am pretty sure Blizzard is already aware of the issue, but the fix would cost money.

I have the same issue no matter how I connect. Whether it is direct via my 2 ISPs or from a VPN (routing through OVH Paris, OVH Frankfurt, or Leaseweb in NL or Level3 via Ireland). The other thing, we do not get to ping the gameservers we get to ping the LookingGlass Service/Peering IPs.

Given that fact what help would it provide Blizzard to see perfectly good traceroutes with low pings to IPs which are not the actual Gameservers and are sitting in a DMZ on probably a different VLAN ID and a different Firewall ?

I made no changes to my gaming pc at all, no driver updates , just the needed security updates on my Windows 10 System. I do not use any ingame overlay or other useless stuff.

I tried with and without addons loaded, I tried from a second computer with a blank installation of wow.

The issue appears around 9am - 18pm CEST and vanishes by itself w/o me applying any changes. It also never happened to me on a weekend where one would expect even more players being online than during the week.

I have det same problem, i lag like hell on my Fiber Optics 1000/1000 line from Altibox, then i change to my 4G modem it dosent seam, to have any problems with the connection, like seriously whats the problem im going crazy

the issue is still there! tried to do my daily mini-vision, got stuck in loading and got “instance not found”, tried again and guess what, couldn’t enter the mini-vision at all because the system thinks i already entered the vision once and can’t enter again today! ffs HELP US!

Same problem for me Since 2 weeks ago… It’s very difficult to play with these crash… Problem is present only on Wow, I’m connected with cable to my Router with fiber access.
I try with VPN, but loading stuck continue to freeze at 0%, 70%, or 100%.
I repair the Game, reinstall Windows, Change the DNS, Flush the DNS, Disable IPV6 on my network card, disable addons, clean cache game, Nothing change.

For the VPN use, What’s your location recommendation for getting around the problem in the meantime?
I’m in France, I try Germany, GB for VPN server

Thanks Theriga for those tests.

I’ll send them on however I am slightly concerned that on two of your tests, your hitting a 90% packet loss right on the first line. That would usually indicate your already losing substantial information right from your router. I would perhaps give it a try following this guide here as it might be that your network needs a refresh.

Hi It’s not a real packet loss, I think you send the 3 MTR test in the same time, reason of this lost of package on your router.
Many routers of ISP block multi ping requests, retry the test not in the same time, IP per IP.
And the packet lost on your local network is normally solved.

You are 100% correct i did run 3 at the same time

I’m upgraded my Windows to the last version this night, May Update (Windows 10 version 2004) with DirectX 12 Ultimate, and updated the last driver Nvidia to v.446.14.
No crash since this major system update, the problem is probably solved, I don’t know if it’s this upgrade who solve this. But game working fine now. (for the moment)

My vpn is a gaming tcp vpn that connects to turkey works very well.
