so this isn’t strictly about the Beta but I do feel it’s relevant feedback.
I’ve been using the CD manager like many others for a good few weeks now, on beta and on the live game since pre-patch and I’ve got a few issues that sorely need addressing ASAP.
1: lack of health/combat potion/trinket tracking.
As someone that pushes M+ as high as I can go, I don’t really want to be staring at my action bars, in fact I have them disabled to avoid staring at them.
In the current situation, that means I literally just cannot see when my trinkets or pots are available to use, when previously before pre-patch I was able to track them with a weakaura.
It would be tremendous if we could track these things with the cooldown manager, and after the CD manager being in the game since 11.1.5 I don’t see why it hasn’t been added yet? I’m sure there are addons still that can probably help me with this, but the whole point of the big swinging changes to the API is so that addons don’t feel like they’re needed, I should be able to just load up the game and have everything I need to play the game correct?
2: Not being centred.
I cannot express how frustrating it is that the CD manager doesn’t have a setting for centring it on my screen, I have to use an addon to achieve this.
But even then, I have to go through quite a bit of messing around with edit mode layouts to get it centred, and then unless I make multiple edit mode presets (can only have 5 per account) I can’t have it centred on all my characters?
Currently if I swap talent builds and have one more ability the CD manager is no longer centred.
This makes the game the opposite of alt friendly for me, as I’m now probably just not going to play anything other than my main to avoid the hassle of having to adjust the UI every single time I go on a different character.
You have devs who love to play the game I’m sure, Ion himself is a mythic raider in his spare time, how are we this far into having the CD manager and we still don’t have quite basic utility from it?
