Copy - Paste ONLY WoW Classic to another PC

I was wondering how to do that, since now I’m in my parents house and internet here is slow (downloading at 1 MB/s). When I check the WoW Classic file, there isn’t one, it is inside World of Warcraft file, and the files seem to be mixed. There is a classic, a retail and a Data file, what am I supposed to copy.

Honestly not a clue how to properly whittle them down to classic vs retail.

Best suggestion I’ve got, and it could get a bit messy, is to copy everything except the data and retail folders, manually create the Data > Data folder, then copy across all files in there with a creation date of when you installed classic WoW. You can add the creation date as a column.

It may still need to download some extra stuff that you missed, but it would hopefully be a lot less.

How big is your data folder?
Mine is about 4GB. I only have Classic

Data folder is 59,9 GB
Classic folder is 169 MB
Retail folder is 241 MB

Could you not d/l classic, then just keep the retail d/l paused indefinitely? I mean, they’re two separate games, so it shouldn’t interfere with anything too much, I would’ve thought. :woman_shrugging:
