Tell me about it! I really hope that Shadowlands did not spell the end of character customization for void elves and other races. I’ve seen the good ol hair colour or two, but i mean actual proper customization all around, not just hair colour copy pastes…

Talking hair… I really love this custom hairstyle on this night elf.
She is clearly inspired by Azshara - but in a darker color, this would be a great fit for velves. (Namely purple.)

Omg yess i love it!! I just love long hairstyles!! I really wish we could get more of them! For all elven races! 
By the way someone asked Danuser in an interview if we’ll get any character customization in 10.1 and he said he’s not aware of any being added in 10.1 and he’ll need to check. I wish we could interview the art team and Mike Ybara himself and ask directly as they’d likely be more involved with that.
It’d be nice to get a timeframe for when we’ll see more void elf customization and more classes open to all races!

I saw that they will both get new hair colors, new eye colors for NB and new skin colors for DID.

Omg really?? Where did you see that?? Skin colours would be so rad for DID and also the eye colors for NB! NB also need more skin colours to be honest and especially a light pink one like the one NEs have, it wont hurt to have a lighter skin tone

So let’s see, we’ve got NB haircolors and eye colors, and DID hair colors and skin colors. It’s good to see that they’re not neglecting the character customization aspect on one hand, but on the other so far it’s all just more color patterns. I hope we will soon see Void elf customization as well, but I rather expect a bigger pass than just small chunks here and there as the latter can be quite frustrating!
What I’d like us to see in the next Void elf customization wave:
- Hairstyles
- Tattoos
- Jewellery
- A Voidy hair effect option
- An EE toggle option

I would love to see more male hairstyles without balding in the front. Infact, there should be a good amount of bang hairstyles. When I was a gothy teenager boy I loved bangs covering my forehead. So there should be hairstyles with hair in the front, not receding. It would match the void elves better.
And female hairstyles that are Void elf themed. Many great examples of art shown here in this thread. Not necessarily metal/punk, we have many references of that already especially with the undead. But something simple with some Void jewelry on it. Something that makes them look like elegant/nerdy goth elves who love to learn about the universe.
I don’t think people realize this, but upon speaking with the void elf NPC’s in Telogrus and Stormwind, I realized they are just gothy nerds trying to learn about the universe and using the void for good things rather than evil.

As I mentioned before, Marceline has some good hairstyles that match the void elf theme. I especially love the longer ponytails, perhaps it can have a little purple Ren’dorei hair-tie.
I’m not a fan of tentacles, so I’m happy we have a toggle, just make sure no “missing hair” comes out as a result of removing the tentacles of the new hairstyles. Rather, simply replace it with hair

Really glad that you made this thread after mine closed down. 
I just wanted to say I would really like for more natural looking black/very dark brown hair color. I really dislike the black we have right now, it has that grey undertone instead of brown one.
Also dark cosmic eyes would be really cool too!

That ponytail if its a bit longer i would totally wear it on my velf.
I love long ponytails on my gothy characters.
