Seriously, I spend more time trying to get to content than doing actual content itself. this is not acceptable, valor changes have even removed low m+ dungeons unless you are key donor or ilvl 225
or its quit and maybe come back for next expansion time?
soloq would be a start, group finder is a disgrace, it would have been dated in 2011. That would also increase number of people doing content, as now its so bad many people dont even bother anymore, friends quitting because you need 5 people or have to deal with this bs finder
valor fix would be another as low keys are non-existent atm
pvp is ruined by lack of soloq unless you have people to play with with discord and stuff
tanking and healing is made too hard/annoying/not exciting so people default to dps ruining queue times, i have a tank, but tanking is made in such a pain in the rear at 10+ with routes, kiting, counting %, Donalds and toxic scum, that i dont bother with pugs. Might try healing, but it seems like its not for me, i like to punch stuff, not heal it.
Splitting raid in manageable pieces would make it better for people without guild, as its too long to do in one sitting
The valor objection is completely relevant. I found myself not wanting to invite 500 rio people to my +7 key yesterday because I was waiting for 1500 rio DPS to apply (and they did).
Have some sympathy for this. On a personal level I’ve been playing an alt in mythic plus since the patch and I am pretty much always either the key holder or know the key holder well. It’s pretty hard to get invited even to low keys if that’s not the case.
The game could probably do with some form of automatic matchmaking system, at least for lower keys. Nothing would stop people forming groups outside the finder if they only wanted to make manual groups.
The Valor farm will dwindle down next week, most people who care about it, will cap it this week, and next week’s cap is a fraction of this weeks, something you get by running your weekly 10 keys anyway. Thus, farming lower keys will not be worth it anymore, especially since it’s a fortified week, so higher keys are considerably less annoying.
As for getting into keys: the best solution - as always - is to build a network of friends and run with them. No long waiting times, no caring about rio, much higher success rate, at the cost of having to add people to your friend list. A fair trade, if you ask me.
Yeah, have fun in a +18 key on Tyrannical / Bolstering / Storming Sanguine Depths with a BDK tank, an havoc demon hunter, an arms warrior, a ret paladin and a holy pally healing.
This is why you can not measure skill. You get group-skill. You know nothing of that 1 players performance in the dungeon. And how the current state of the game is; you lucked yourself with getting fire mage + boomkin in your group, totally getting caried.
in a single case yes, with multiple runs it will become more reliable, also fire and boomkin pull these numbers because there is correct setup for those classes, on their own they arent anything too special
Yes, every cooldown class is gambling in a pug without coordination. It has nothing to do with skill. MMR or whatever skill measurement is stupid in a group coordinated game. Things go wrong all the time by assumptions of the single player.
People should be more encouraged to join M+ communities. Make friends along the line and play with them more often. On voice for (interrupt/cooldown/route) coordination and improve together. Way more fun experience for most people. A queueable M+ is exactly what you don’t want.
