According to logs, ret is at least in pve underperforming. Tank pally is pretty strong and holy is alright.
Ret will be getting a small buff tomorrow.
Crusader strike got giga buffed in patch tho.
We’ll see how it turns out in the long run

That is so wrong, there is absolutely no possibility to three shot anyone as a retpal, unlike some other classes none of our abilities can go beyond 1k+ dmg even with crit.
Far, very far from it.
Do you consider pure dps or also other things like “hooman racial”, buffs, bubble, ability to heal, do AoE, stun,…
you cant balance game just based on pure dps.

Probably true for pve, but for pvp i am currently rerolling from warlock to Ret. In STV Ret is the worst thing i faced as Meta destrolock. You get deleted pretty fast.
The meta is so much of a one shot fiesta that bubble is invaluable and the damage / CC is great at well for ret. (Imo)
This is what makes me so mad telling a lia that he will rerolle a retri because paladin killed him fast. LIke bro stop be a liar okej. Paladin is very bad and they cant do alote of damage i dont know where you get your stuff!! Like you can clearly see that paladin is the worst class in every single thing pve and pvp i dont know where you get your stuff!! this is what make me so mad when people are liars on the classes and on the alliance vs hords bgs. where people says there classes suck and that alliance are very good on bg. That’s true and another factor you didnt mention is mobility.
It always has been a statement from Blizzard that damage comes at the cost of mobility and vice versa.
Issue is, ret has the worst mobility AND the worst damage so, clearly something is wrong here.
Last Tier in healing and DPS, mid tier in tanking but “Paladin is fine” .
You guys are clowns.

Its coming in later phases.
Cause Meta Lock counts as Demon and Exo has a 100% crit chance on Demons.

If you knew the formula of how it scales you would not say giga, it’s barely a buff.
Paladins went from 340 to 549 dps on pummler.
Quite a big buff.

Back on the 28th that was the top 4th Paladin.
Took the 4th since it was the first using SoC & Divine storm, the others had the ACP and marty thus doing more than most people can be capable of.
I have not checked logs for other classes, Just happy my class got a flat 50% DmG buff.

Thats one global alone that totals to 1450 dmg with both of those hits. You telling me this is weak and incapable of 2-3 shot? If command procced I would have died there guaranteed, if not, then I was dead on the next global. That wasnt even a bis geared paladin
