I got just the thing for this:

Now when we go back we have everything disabled? wth is this??
Now when soloing all stuff i can’t even use the speed boosts in the soulbinds/covenants?
If i want to do Ny’alotha solo, it’ll be worse since a significant portion of my power is tied to these scrubby systems…
What is the upside to this?
All i’m seeing is that since the expac was delayed:
- They worked on the conduit system, redesign… TWICE. When they could have just let them be freely switchable. So they’re losing TIME and EFFORT on this.
- This week they nerfed legendaries into oblivion…making them irrelevant, now they say they’ve re-talked about it and want them be more significant, so they’ll spend even more TIME and EFFORT into re-rebalancing them AGAIN…
- They come up with this… i, i got no words
Conclusion: The expac would have been better off going live like it was than these idiotic changes and constantly wasting time on bullcrap ups and downs in designs, they simply have no idea for a good direction.

Wanted to check out few things yesteday, noticed they removed the the dummies from Oribos so i went to Orgrimmar for a test but couldn’t because covenant abilities don’t work anymore.
I seriously hope they reconsider this cause it’s really annoying.

Good move! Shows just how much BS the whole “borrowed 1 expansion power” thing is and why it needs to go the way of dinosaurs. Now if only they shucked the whole thing instead of cutting parts of it…

Yup, this is what I’m talking about. Should be always available everywhere - aka baseline class/spec - or into shredder it goes as we have to manage without it, so we don’t really need it anyway.

Yes… delete them all and add stuff to the base classes.
Or actually make them switchable freely… none of this nonsense.
Also… in b4 the “it breaks immersion to use them outside of Shadowlands”.
So does using them in arenas, since those fights are in the old zones.
I’ve defended a lot of blizzards decisions but this one just goes too far

It’s a premade char, i didn’t try to copy one also maybe it shares toys but it would be an idea if it works.
Also just want to add… that we’re gonna get used to the new powers and keybinds in Shadowlands… so when we go outside of Shadowlands our chars are gonna be different than what we’re used to.
Which is going to suck.

It’ll be usable in pvp.
For clarity, this means that Covenant abilities are usable in
-
Shadowlands outdoor zones (Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, Revendreth, and the Maw).
-
Shadowlands activities, dungeons, and raids (Torghast, Plaguefall, Nathria, etc).
-
In instanced PvP (arenas and battlegrounds).

i was actually hyped for shadowlands.
this killed it. it’s not even that big of a deal but i’m seriously reconsidering just refunding sl and calling it a day on wow.
what the actual fk are they doing? is this why they needed a delay? instead of focusing on stuff that ACTUALLY matters like class balance they go around and do stupid stuff like this.
