The new patch is here and we can see how the Crafted PvP gear with Conquest is . And surprise , surprise , apparently it is even worse than it was in Season 1
Where in Season 1 it was on 4 item levels above a non-upgraded spark , now it is 9 item levels bellow .
It is a solid 22 item levels bellow a fully upgraded Conquest Item . Where as the difference in season 1 was only 9 item levels .
It is pretty much LFR level Item now , which is a downgrade from Last season .
But the real problem is you have 0 ways to upgrade its item levels .
Can you at least let us add to it crafted crests or something ?
Or let us upgrade it at the normal crest vendor using valorstones and crests .
Right now it is literally dead weight sitting in your char , when you are out in the world doing PvE content .
Please provide a way to boost the PvE item level of crafted PvP gear .
Also Secondly Please uncap the PvP gear so we can keep adding crests to it to max PvE item level . The crests are earned from PvE activity anyway , so it does not matter if you can purchase the base peace with conquest . Not to mention that for most classes it does not have the right stats to be Bis in PvE
Please stop forcing us to keep 2 different sets of gear …
There are 2 new items at the Conquest vendor which allow you to make a tier-set item upgradable to 678 in PvP. So essentially you can get your PvE tier-set item from the raid or the catalyst, then use that item on it to both keep it’s high PvE item level and also make it 678 in PvP.
Unfortunately it only works for the tier set items and not the rest of the equipment. Those are locked to 645 for PvE or what they currently are (and 636 for crafted ones).
Yea the tier set is Okay change , but not completely thought out , as you are basically funneled into spending that buff item that turns them into 678 gear , on your most powerful PVE gear .
If you spend it on some heroic tier , or worse normal raid tier item and you get a better one later , that close to 900 conquest is gone down the drain .
It should allow you to socket it and un-socket it , so you can safely improve your PVE gear .
On The other side the Crafted PvP gear stuck 636 is just pure bull . That’s literally last season PvE item level .
I don’t ask for it to be insta powerful l, but let us at least upgrade it . Socket spark in it , add crests to it , anything .
For instance you have engineers . What ? They have to keep 2 sets of goggles and braces just because one is PVE ?
Or the embellishments ? Your supposed to craft 2x weapons to have Ascendance embellish in Both PVE and PVP ?
This is totally trash . We need a way to upgrade this gear .
