I’m having issues using the “Credit or Debit Card” payment method on my battle net account, if I try to sub, pay for something or even simply just add a payment method using a card battle net just blocks me out before I even get the option to enter my card details - I get the message “Heads up! Something went wrong. Select another payment method or try again later.”
The only other payment option I have is Paypal and they don’t service in my region.
I did everything I could think of AND I sent in a ticket and tried the methods they copy pasted to me over 3 different responses and nothing works (incognito, reset password, dif device, dif network, removed authenticator, etc). I’m like 99.9% sure my account is bugged or something. I even made a fresh new account and the Credit/Debit card option works perfectly on that. No matter how many times I explained the issue on the ticket, apparently the problem is with my payment provider even though battle net wouldn’t let me use it at all.
Seems strange that you can use the card on another account without issue. To me that would suggest a problem with the account so i’d keep on to them about it.
Just a thought, but have you done any charge backs on the account that gives you the error? I think they sometimes block accounts for that.
Well its fixed now lol. I think battle net actually blocked me for around 24 hrs, cause it seems to have fixed itself around the same time I encountered the issue. Most intriguing.
Edit: Never flipping mind, after the very first attempt of using my card it went back to being bugged and refusing me access to enter my card details. Wat da hell.
I tried edge, incognito, on my phone, resetting password, removing authenticator, turning off anti virus - nothing works. I guess I’ll just have to pray it fixes itself or bliz spares my account.
I can confirm I am currently experiencing the same problem. I have a open ticket where I was told to update my address, and remove all the billing profiles i created (and that was part of the issue i think, since i had “too many wallets…”). But even after doing so, i still can’t subscribe or purchase 60 days of game time. Same thing happening if i try to subscribe on my US license. Any tips since CS is not replying to that ticket ?
