Hey Blizzard & fellow community,
I want to open up a discussion that’s been on my mind (and probably many others’) for a while: cross-class transmogrification, specifically regarding Mage Tower appearances and the normal artifact weapons
Many of the Mage Tower appearances aren’t tied to class-specific spellcasting or even animations. Some are just incredible weapon designs or thematic armor sets that would look amazing on different classes and in some cases, even make more sense thematically.
For example:
- The Fury Warrior’s Odyn-inspired swords, would look epic on a Paladin.
- The Unholy DK’s plague-themed scythe, could easily fit a Warlock or Shadow Priest.
- Balance Druid’s stellar weapon, would be a great match for an Arcane Mage.
And etc. for each class!
But why?
Even though many players just prefers Blizzard to “just” give the old legion MT appearances out for free or in upcoming Remix (Legion), I think this could potentially be a nice idea, and especially when, for the most players, transmogrification is the best and most popular way to express ourselves and impress others.
