Cross-faction battle.net communication

The other day while I was questing I killed this Alliance rogue. He instantly battle.net added me somehow and started crying about it. Later on my friend came across the very same guy and killed him, he too recieved a friend request from him.
Blizzard you need to look into this.

Edit: The point im trying to make is, friend requesting someone of the other faction shouldn’t be possible (unless you actually give him your battle tag).
From what I can remember blizzard stated that you won’t be able to friend request members of the opposit faction. This guy found a way around it.

Cant you just decline the freind request? Me on the other hand would accept it just to hear him cry cause then i new it annoyed him then block all communication

It’s weird that Blizzard have this system when it’s litterally a bannable offense in the ToS to communicate directly cross faction in world of warcraft.

Demon hunter ? Blood / void elf’s ? Potion of speech ?

Iam pretty sure both games share the same TOS

not accepting the friend request seems like the most plausible solution to this.

furthermore, if you want blizzard to look into this your best bet is to write a ticket.

I thought you have to accept the request first. I did that mistake once, after winning a Hearthstone match… The match itself was fun, lots of back and forth, good plays… then after that my opponent added me and I foolishly accepted. He then proceeded to insult me hard… And then I never accepted another request unless I knew the person.

I may need to clarify a bit. Of course I could just decline the request. What im trying to say is cross faction communication is possible using whatever method this guy used to friend request us.

and what is blizzard supposed to do about it?

edit:

i mean, if someone adds you and you accept just ask who it is and if that someone insults you, just roll your eyes and block/delete him again. make a screenshot, write a ticket and then move on.

The point is you shouldn’t be able to add opposit factions battle.net unless you are given their battle tag. This to prevent cross faction talk. That is why you can’t right click and battlenet friend request players from the other faction only your own. This guy found a way around it.

and how are they supposed to give their battle.net if they have no way of communicating?

i ve made 2 really good friends from the opposite faction who helped me while questing.

i really dont see why the majority should be disadvantaged because someone cant decline a friendsrequest.
if you ve ganked someone and receive immediately a friendsrequest out of nowhere you can put 2 and 2 together that its the one being ganked and just decline. simple as that.

i dont know why you re making a mountain out of a mole hill. just report and move on.

From what I can tell, you can just turn it off in your Interface > Social Settings in-game.

There is a very old thread about it over on the US servers.

I love in any game getting pestered off people I’ve beaten.
It’s a confirmation of my fantastic superiority.

So you can add same faction players? What is the confusing part then? He just has two accounts. For both factions. Or did you see that it was the same account, same character?

It shouldn’t be removed. Sometimes I want to explain why I killed someone.

Also you should use any comunication programs of 3rd parties at all.
Trust me guys, cross faction is one thing, but i can talk with friends frim other games! This has to stop!
