Huh, odd. Like I said, literally never had any issues whatsoever in cities. Might just be lucky.
Sharding is mostly contained, but when you see folks who aren’t AD in places, that’s because they’ve been invited in. All non-AD folks I’ve seen have been partied with someone who is.
I’ve not had issues outside of current content.

The frustration comes in when, compared to PVE/Raiders or PVPers, RPers get so very little. Every patch revolves around the other two and, as someone else said, even Pet Battlers get some dedicated content here and there.
RPers have asked for very little; more and better customisation options. More emotes. X-faction chat. Admittedly slightly bigger things like Player Housing too (yes, it can be done, other games have proved that, not going to discuss that in-depth here)
And yet, out of the handful of things we’d like, we’ve got none of them. Despite arguably being some of the most loyal subscribers during content drought, because RP can still go on even when tiers have been raided and myths have been dungeoned and all that jazz. So… that’s kind of massively frustrating. And then RPers go and make their own tools to enable them to do what they love doing, and they swiftly get broken. So… joy?

You’ll only see them if they’re in party/raid with an AD player who happens to be party/raid leader. So typically only if someone wants to bring their friend over to have a look or if a horde player brings a raid of off-realmers to murder Stormwind’s denizens. You will NEVER see off-realmers otherwise.

CRP’s death was not intentional.
They can not fix CRP.
Basically, they’re adding CRP as an actual gamemechanic without the need for a ton of groups.

Ion just said on the Q&A they won’t be reverting the changes about Bnet communities, but they’re going to add a potion that lets you hear what the other faction is saying which can likely just be bought from a vendor, possibly coming as soon as this weekend.

What about TRPs? It also does mean we’ll be forced to actually farm gold in order to RP. Isn’t this absurdal?

I don’t think so. It’ll probably just be more akin to the Inky Black Potion. Ion said this as well I’m fairly sure.

Nope. At least not before the first connection via cross-rp and parsing the whole trp info.
Fairly sure Ion was saying it’d be bought from a vendor, at least that’s the idea they have for it for now.

Why would you buy it from the AH if you can buy it from a vendor? Which, if that’s the case, I’d imagine will be cheap like the inky Black Potion.

Should have broken it when the potion was released. Not before.
The Inky black potion is from DMF, so it’s available from a vendor once a month, if that. If for some reason you miss that, your next option is the Auction House.
IF the tongues elixir is from the same vendor, you may have the same problems.

I’d rather go without CrossRP for a total of a week so that blizzard can patch up the security loopholes Ion mentioned. They’re giving us what we want, don’t hate on them for it.

In the Q&A, Ion said that (at least, for the possible ideas they have right now) It’d be able to be bought from a vendor in the Dalaran Underbelly. It wasn’t quite specified if it’d be in the area that flags you for being killed, but you’d still be able to run in and buy them in bulk while the guards are up.
