As a Druid whom enjoys communicating with my fellow Tauren (and Troll!) brothers and sisters, losing this add-on will be a huge shame and it will no doubt cause the loss of the great events that the druid community were having together as a whole.

Honestly, it is another major fail from Blizzard. Cross RP facilitated RP on so many levels, from your generic insults during battle, to neutral RP. Its a shame and it will cause a decline in the overall RP on this server. But perhaps, thats what Blizzard wants, to get rid of a few thousand pesky RP-ers and their demands which they can’t keep up to or are not able to do, due to them being incompetent. If a MMORPG can’t provide servers strong enough to NOT lag with 200 players in one zone, then the said MMORPG needs to stop existing, in this day and age.

Personally, I feel like - as many others on this thread do - that crossrp revived many places within the world. It also imbued a new life into RP, one which was previously tedious and quite boring - one which often took place in bnet whispers amongst others.
RP-PVP will now go back to: Hit, hit, hit meanwhile interesting and unique interactions with the opposite faction will be non-existent/simply boring.

This makes me sad as Cross RP was great during the RP-PvP Campaigns. It allowed you to have rivalry with the opposite factions during events and i had fun playing these out. Seems like Blizzard doesn’t want us having too much fun! Now get back to grinding rep!!!

It’s a great addon that brought life into so much RP and opened so many wonderful RP opportunities like cross-faction neutral RP. If it is gone forever…then it will nema like going back to Middle Ages.

I hope Blizzard can find it in them to help folks with the crossrp, I remember the first time I turned the addon on and saw a troll speak something intelligable. I quite literally sat there giggling like an idiot for a solid five minutes and smiled broadly at the screen as I was roleplaying with more people than ever before. Crossrp has undoubtedbly made the neutral communities grow explosively to whole new levels that can be almost compared to the vanilla group finding.
Blizzard, please! Help us grow even further beyond and get a roleplay power level of over 9000!!

So hey, just a heads up Blizz re: CrossRP. My server is 74 to 76% alliance and the tiny fraction of the server that is horde, the even smaller fraction of it are Tauren.
Cross RP gave us a new audience to RP with as a Tauren main guild. We hold neutral markets once a month and mostly RP in pandaria. Even having dramatic moments in some limited RP-pvp.
If this is truly broken/disallowed and not some fear mongering/hate rallying against Blizz, then please take these statistics into mind and also… for the love of the earth mother, Move Korksy off of the Tauren RP meeting hotspot. He’s front and center of the main rise in Thunderbluff, right where meeting holders would stand.
We tend to stay subbed year round to the end of Expacs.

Ah yeah, makes sense.
Another alternative, if someone for personal reasons won’t use addons, is to use Discord as an external chat-box. It’s not as convenient as having all gathered in game, but it can be an alternative to the option of completely excluding cross faction communication.
I can tell that the next event I’m going to host, Uldum Nights, will be using that option, and the channel is already up. You find it in the Event section of the Argent Archives.
RP Announce - an IC rumor mill, is also established (read the #about before use). Search it up on Argent Archives. (for some reason I am not allowed to post links in the forum, even if the link feature is included in the UI).
I hope this can be useful alternatives and inspiration for the many neutral RPers out there.

The addition of crossrp was one of the few things keeping me around. I genuinely can’t be bothered with much in game these days, so this is pretty cruddy.
Blizzard are great at sucking the fun out of their own game.
