I saw several times now how hordes talk in orcish but with intelligible words. Apparently some people figured out how to talk through orcish/common language barrier. I assume they figured which letters are replaced with which and now are able to talk in complete sentences. Which is against the spirit of factions not communicating with each other. Maybe it is time to fix that? For example speech can be replaced with random gibberish instead of fixed letters.
#nochanges.
just right click and report them for spam.
There isnāt much else we can do, for some reason blizzard refuses to use true randomization cross faction.
As much as i like nochanges this is clearly not the intended use of language mechanics. Not sure if exploit or not but something rather fishy going on here.
Itās just random letter combos that have known translations.
For instance ād y dā or āk e kā (one or the other, and I think it needs to be capitalizes differently) translates into l o l.
You can report them, if you donāt like it. Itās a violation of ToS and they might get banned.
Iām pretty sure this was possible back in vanilla.
It was possible back in vanilla, why people have to report it ?
I have an awesome phrase āloser lolā i always send to horde when they fail to gank at low hp.
Nevermind, i found out how to re-encode it back to proper orcish using addon lua. Maybe there would be an addon for that soon.
I used to have a Makro back in Vanilla that spelled āNo killā in Alliance languageā¦
Sadly I dont remember what I had to write.
I think that as long as you just use it for taunting and being an idiot itās ok.
Itās not like you are actually communicating (whoād want to talk with alliance players, lol) with the other faction in a meaningful way.
Ironfoe is funny item, when worn by Horde, just saying.
You can speak dwarven every time the swing procs.
Yeah, back in 2005. People have been doing it since then
Thats what iām saying! Theyāre starting to talk in complete sentences! Given enough time theyād write rude sonets entirely in 'aaās and 'zzās.
In such times as these, what was a mild annoyance then will evolve into whole new level of clusterā¦fish now
Actually I would much prefer if we all understood each other. Ofc swearing and spam should be banned, but languages are just a silly barrier for it. Orcs understand human/forsaken gutterspeak but other humans canāt. Its very dumb and breaks immerssion for me.
Do u know that sounds and emotes are legibles?
Is it possible for priest to MC and talk using /e still?
Alliance players keep saying āgoibonā to me when I kill them.
#nochanges or go back to retail
No you go to retail. Iād rather stay here
