Crown Chemical Event

Whats the deal with people queuing as healer but playing Dps?Literally from the first day all groups i’ve been we keep dying because “healers” on group are dps.

Our group managed to down them in 30 seconds, but I died as result of the healer being 4th dps  . Still isn’t fun ofc.

I queue as healer and actually heal, but truthfully most of the time when health drops it seems it’s because people stand in goo

Healers were never necessary for these dungeon events, off healing is sufficient. It’s people just standing in stuff, if they ain’t moving let them die.

In my latest group the tank died 'cause of no healer.
Lucky for me i was on my druid & just combat ressed them.

It’s no fun when the tank isn’t a tank or the healer isn’t healing. Died repeatedly in some runs.

Really? Oh man, that sucks. My experience is tanks are fine, and warlocks and mages are happily chilling in the goop (had two mages and a warlock do exactly that in my one run earlier, they suddenly made healing unexpectedly fun lol) but I guess experiences vary a lot. Not cool.

dps hungry people not moving from the now really dangerous poisons on the floor , if the tank and dps just moved nobody would need a healer…

Not having a tank was worst. No aggro, so we all kept dying. I have healed too and its so easy to keep people topped up.

People are always going to opt for fastest queue. Sadly the system isn’t really set up to deal with it.

From my experience, even with my lvl 70 twinks with 480 gear, which is above average ilvl for lvl 70. I can’t perform good healing, i may be overreaching, but healers don’t have good time in this battle.
So i usually reg as tank and im fine when healer is DPS, since lvl 70 don’t really need healer due scaleing and its simply annoying to switch to the healer, if you dps main just for 30 sec battle.

That being said, its my lvl 70 shenanigans. A lot of people reg as lvl 80 or as lvl 71-80 which is indicate not a good time for them, if they do not use bottles from the table on the left side of battle arena. I can’t imagine what could happen with full group of lvl 71-79 characters.

If you struggle, use serum from the table on the left side of arena!

It’s just so incomprehensibly inconsiderate to me to not do the job one signed up for. Can imagine with no tank it was mayhem. I hope the rest of your runs will be better!

avg level 70 was 500+ item level to be fair but it is not hard if people just move.

If it is on this character, and your profile is accurate about your ilvl, I’d recommend to get a Dreamsurge set. That should help a great deal  I noticed the difference very much between a freshly dinged 70 priest and my somewhat geared priest with the Headless Horseman. I’m guessing with this event it’s similar.

I mean more like average in current dungeon drop gear, not Dragonflight endgame.

Have you considered not standing in stuff?
A healer really isnt needed if everyone does what they are supposed to do. When i do it on my priest i go in as Holy and if you stand in stuff you die, simple as that.
Dps joining as tank though is an issue. Had one where it was really bad but luckily i was on my Paladin so i could facetank it to the end

I queue as all 3 roles and then play feral because I do 100x more damage than everyone else and the boss dies in 30 sec.

Not my fault the queue takes 10 min as dps and 10 sec as heal/tonk. I have the option to not waste my time and I take it. If ppl die, unlucky, just release and get on with your day.

I do the same thing with normal/heroic dungeons for satchel or weekly rep quest. :dracthyr_shrug:

Have you tried not standing in the big splats of chemicals on the floor and/or using some defensive cooldowns?

Seeing a ton of people just standing in puddles AND the sprays… people are now even worse than your typical LFR player! :astonished:

We had one yesterday where the tank wasn’t tanking, and we were duly smoked. We managed to get right back in and wreck shop but I found it slightly amusing when it happened. I was wondering why I was suddenly getting slapped by these guys.
