Crown Chemical Event

Again today on my main, left with 10% health and I stand in nothing.

But by all means people can keep denying it’s a problem when people abuse queuing for the wrong role.

At least release is fast, our no tank moment we just kept releasing and keeping it in combat so it didn’t reset :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

It died eventually ofc.

That’s weird, I’ve ran it about 20 times queuing as a DPS under a healer role and I’ve always left with 100% hp. Funnily enough, the only people who have died or been lower are those who have stood in puddles for a minute and/or haven’t pressed a defensive CD (thank you omnicd).

There’s no abuse, I’m not sitting in a 15 minute queue for a 30 second boss encounter just because some people want a heal bot while they stand afk in puddles and refuse to press their buttons. Hope this helps!

Once the tank dies instantly and then everyone else starts getting wrecked, it becomes quite apparent that people are queueing for the wrong role.

I can verify that it’s definitely not about standing in the puddles. Most of us already know to avoid those.

you think people know that until you sign up as a healer THEN you see nope, people do not know, are incompetent or just lazy

Especially tanks that aren’t tanks.

I can verify that it is. PLUS not pressing their buttons. What next?

No, I can verify that it is not because our deaths were directly caused by the tank dying immediately.

Honestly, they should just auto re-spec you to the role you qued as and make it like M+ where you can’t re-spec.

“Healers are not needed” clearly for some it is. You signed up for a role, play it. Some people are new, some people are bad, doesn’t mean your ego gets to sign up for a role and not play it.

Some people are really that big on themselves that they think their time and joy is more important than others :joy:

If it really were “No problem, 30 second fight” you could easily get the benefit of queing as healer AND get it downed fast without people having to die.

you dont need both tanks and healers in this event it takes less than 30 seconds and is like fighting random quest npcs. be happy some people make your queue faster

If you want to pretend that queueing as the wrong role isn’t abusing the system then be my guest.

In melee even moving out of beams of goop and as soon as they start squirting in your direction still causes damage and without bubble it would probably kill me.

The runs with a tank and/or healer just don’t have that. Because the healer is actually performing their role.

This suggests that what I am doing is a breach of ToS. Can you please point out that section?

I will when you point out where I said it was a breach of ToS

:woman_facepalming:

When I join these event bosses on my lvl 10s i one shot bosses, nobody needs gear or roles

‘Abusing the system’

Implies I’m doing something wrong, therefore, punishable. Have I done something wrong? Or am I playing the game within my right?

At no point does that say you are in breach of ToS. Abusing the system is simply that. Queueing as a role you have no intention of fulfilling.

If I agree to do something for/with others, and the next step is me doing something else entirely than what I said I would, I’m breaking a social contract. It’s as simple as that, and anyone with a conscience is aware of this, even if they twist the rules.

And once in a while Blizzard sighs, comes up with a solution (which regularly punishes innocent people as a result) to deal with people like you, and then it’s either no longer possible or punishable. But that it is not ok should be clear to you already.

So if I queue as a Shadow Priest and I spam Flash Heal and keep the group topped with Vampiric Embrace, am I not fulfilling the role, especially as nobody died?

See above. Stop whinging, get on with it, press your buttons better, and stop standing in things that are killing you. It’s really that simple. Until Blizzard do something about it, no rules are being broken, and I and everyone else are well within our rights to do it.

Feel free to report people for ‘breaking the social contract’ (although I’d like to see what part of the contract this prohibits), see how far that gets you.

Lol. About as mature as your attitude.

And in classic GD whinger fashion, you completely ignore everything else and only pick out the thing which triggers you the most.

No rules are broken. This is allowed. Deal with it. Go and beg Blizzard to change it if you don’t like it. I’ve never had a problem, I wonder why.
