It’s really simple.
You sign up for a role, you perform that role, (you in the general sense, not you personally).
That is all.
I would love for Blizz to tie people in to the role they queue up as. But I can’t see it happening. If they haven’t done it by now, they probably never will.
But expecting people not to dislike it when these poor choices of one affect a whole group is ridiculous.
I’m not going to reply to you again. This is going in circles. You can’t accept that the fault lies with the person not healing. Nothing will change that.

Which I did. I sign up in the healer role, I keep my group alive with off heals, and then I top the damage killing the boss faster than they would have without me. Win win 
because its faster
also you dont really need healer then if you know how to press dispel button on yourself.
and for the record - i do 1 daily chemical dungeon as prewoker 
The event is much harder now. Last year and the years before you could 5 dps it. Now you need 1 tank, 1 healer and 3 dps. Yes you can do it without, but good luck to your repair bill at least if your not overgeared or doing em on an alt.

It amazes me how many players don’t use the buffs from the items on the table. Been horrible doing this years event as a healer . It’s certainly harder
Two runs yesterday without tanks and as my chars were the only ones doing decent damage they got all the aggro.
But, tbh I’d rather have 5 min queue and die a couple of times than 30 min queue without dying.

and spaming 80 alts to get it each day is fun while waiting que i think not.
The bosses do damage ? 
Because we wamt the abysmal rare rocket and the bugger won’t drop.
I spam the crapper with 30 characters daily and for faster ques we do appy as tanks or healers…
Blizz increase further the rocket drop chance or put it on the vendor
I think everyone is well aware that the queues are faster if u sign as heal/tank… still doesnt explain why you dont just heal or tank if thats what you signed up for

Seems to be dependent on time of day. After 10pm and it’s always at least 15 minutes for me.

I signed up as a healer twice, but the health of the tank dropped so fast that I really struggled to keep them up. I had an entirely different experience on the Siren Isle where I barely had to heal the tanks, even the pets when they were tanking the three main bosses.
I only queued up as a ranged dps after, it was a faceroll for me that way, I barely got any damage either. But I saw that the healers were struggling in that case too, we even lost the tank today.
I was wondering if the tanks were actually not tanks or they were just standing in stuff they shouldn’t have. I haven’t tanked anything for a long time but I may sign up as a tank to check this encounter out, because now I am curious.

Checked it out as a tank. What I have seen so far:
- Someone started the event before me (and, that person was obviously not the tank).
- My gear level is 614 and my health is 9102k.
- The perfume hits quite bad: the highest incoming damage was hitting me towards the end of the fight for 544k and I was moving out of the puddles.
- I did receive some healing but the highest incoming heal was 104k. The rest of the heals were way lower at a time, though more frequent than the incoming damage.
- As a tank, my health still remained decent by the end of the fight, I did not feel any close to dying, I did not have to pop any cooldowns because the bosses went down really fast.
I think that if the tank is a tank (and moves out of the puddles) and the healer is a healer, this encounter is fairly easy, even without picking up the vials from the table.
I can’t believe there are (a few) people defending this and claiming healers aren’t necessary. If you’re doing content as a pre-formed group, crack on with whatever party composition you want. If you’re during DF/RF and are making that call on behalf of other players… The sense of selfishness and entitlement…I can’t write what’s in my head or it would get filtered/removed.
If you’re queuing on a class which has a tank or healer role, and you’re queueing in the tank or healer queue, I genuinely cannot understand why you wouldn’t just play that role for the brief encounter? Even as a non-geared offspec you’re hamstringing the PUG runs less. Sure, it costs you a few seconds to switch and back again. But as you’ve already seen, you’re saving on queue time and get to have the warm reassuring feeling that you’re not a colossal Hammerfish. Oh yeah, and doesn’t waste the time of other players either.

Yesterday I queued as alt healer. I knew how use heal.
But when other player druid, had healer spec. Since I see big tree-form and heal them before me

Looks like this event is just the vetenary horse of PuG life. 
Just had a druid que as a tank but was a moonkin and he just said just use cd but like why can’t he just be a tank or stop queing as one? Also noone ressed me and healer was bad too like can’t we bann people for this?
Alliance queues are a fair bit longer compared to Horde’s from what I’ve noticed.
