Had a remarkably satisfying encounter with the Adherents - it would seem the Plaguewood will suffer the menace of the dark powers for a little while longer as the forces of evil proved to be more than capable combatants.
I donāt often run into baddies along the Plaguewood road, but when I do my argent toon has a hard time and I have an amazing night. They certainly make crusading in the north more worth while and the next patrol more desirable.
I also end up with a parting gift in the form of a knife in my back. Looking forward to giving it back.
Deep within Scholomance, Blightheart kneels upon unholy grounds with his torso uncovered. He locks his gaze onto the ceiling and holds his putrid hands aloft. Strange words in the Scourgeās language leave his missing lips as he prays to all that encompasses Death. Slowly, unholy energies embrace one of his hands, which he moves to his chestā¦
Suddenly, this hand digs itself into his chest and curls around his rotten heart. With a gasp, he tears the heart out of his body, leaving only blighted remains where the once so vital organ used to be. For a few more moments, he keeps kneeling, his unholy gaze set upon the ground as mutated ichor spreads freely across its surface.
After a while of eerie silence, with only the dripping of ichor echoing within the halls of Scholomance, the Grand Necrolord cackles loudly. He stands up, holds the heart close to his face and snarls at it, hissing out: āThere is no humanity left in me. I have long since become something far greater.ā He weighs the heart in his hand. āI am unholy, I am Deathās hand, Iā¦ am eternal.ā He levitates the heart in front of his elated countenance and teleports it to a safer place.
The necromancerās eyes travel to the blighted hole in his chest. A wicked grin forms on his pustulent features; for even though he lost something this day, he felt all the more complete.
Update: had another fight with these great, very dedicated and determined fellows. It did hurt, actually.
oocly, very cool people, great communication ooc which is really important for antagonistic adventures, those of us who could walk on their own after tonight, walked away very happy.
See that demon (the biggest one) and all the other multiple demons here? All thanks to Robert and his gang over in the Dread Covenant and the Guild Cleft of Shadow!
Weāve had a good few random encounters with the Scarlets of the BoM and other individuals, a violent mission and dark rituals. Join us on the isle of Caer Darrow!
Weāve been preparing our defenses in Caer Darrow as of recent. Personally said, weāre having quite the ideas!
Besides that, we canāt wait for the 18th as we will have a meeting with the Dread Covenant again to discuss further events with our shadowy friends!
