And now he’s dead.
The end.
I’m sure the elves will come up with something for their current real estate issue, and when they do, we will be there to help them with it.
Unlike certain drunks, speaking of which. Shouldn’t you get a re fill? Arcwine doesn’t drink itself
Who will grow the pumpkins for the Human overlords?
Night Elves won’t be going anywhere. They are human subjects.
A smaller, arcane tree freed us from the Nightwell.
How is your light chandelier…after the demon hunter eye beamed it?
NOTE: I said “Smaller.” We don’t live in trees.
You are right about the Horde. That’s always been the charm.
But about the Alliance, well, Leia is right. It’s all about getting human-ed up. If that’s your thing, don’t worry then, Golden has you covered since she’s plastering her two favorite humans across the whole bloody game. 2 minutes into the Shadowlands and guess who you run into?
Lightforged Draenei make excellent troops.
With Human Commanders, of course…
This looks like a case of numbers, humans happen to make up the bulk of Alliances numbers, so there are more of them around.
Hordies seems to have this strange belfief that other races than their own cannot be in charge. Just saying its kind of… a bad road to travel
More of them around = more of them bossing you lot about.
Well…you can’t.
Lightforged Draenei have been following a Human around for 1,000 years.
That’s not a simple baker tho, is it.
No, it’s not that. Normally I’d agree if that were the situation. But as it stands, you got the spotlight on humans, with the other races being background props.
Look it’s not your fault. It’s just that you we got a writer who loves them humans way too much.
My point still stands.
The longer she’s running things, the more isolated the other Alliance races will become.
Jaina and Anduin are the Alliance to her.
It was a riff on an actual quote from history, which I won’t quote, because the original is quite racist,(I’m sure you can guess the original) and meant jovially, and besides, ehh, the Horde has a Council right now, Every Race has one of their own in charge.
Obviously under the benevolent Triumvirate who founded it
Why are people so afraid to admit playing the bad guy?
The Horde are pretty damn evil. At least Orcs, Undead, Trolls and Goblins have some sinister tendencies.
People who enjoy playing the “misunderstood zombie” or “honorable green savage” seem really confused.
In Warcraft 1, Orcs were literally satanists, Hell was referenced multiple times. This was before all the demon blood nonsense they wrote into the story years later.
She did Publicly state that she has three favourite NPC’s, and they were Jaina, Anduin and Baine Because of his attitude towards the Alliance and she rather shockingly -actually DID- self insert her own characters in ‘War Crimes’, two of them. Know the Warlock whose demon saves Varian Wrynn? Yeah. That’s her character.
This said, Steve Danuser thinks he -is- Nathanos, So is another person that should be kept away from plot and story. Along with that Racist Sexist writer, but lets not start that again, even though we should never forget.
Instant a writer can’t see the game, and only focus on their favourites, they should be transferred to a writing team part that does not have control of their favourites. Danuser should not be allowed to write anything to do with Sylvanas and Nathanos, Golden should not be allowed to write anything to do with Jaina, Anduin or Baine.
I’m not saying -Fire- them or anything drastic, just have them write different aspects of the plot where their personal bias cannot be implemented in game. Get Golden writing Horde, get Danuser writing Alliance.
People sometimes get crazy about this, remember when people were all “OMG, Horde Bias! Chris Metzen Voices Thrall!” Then looked -really- stupid when it turned out that yes, Chris Metzen did indeed voice Thrall.
And Varian Wrynn at that time.
And His main was an Alliance Human Paladin.
But yeah, having favourites is fine, mine are Lor’themar, Gelbin Mekkatorque and Genn, simply because they have actually relatable characters. But you should always be ready to Kill your Darlings, and you should never let your personal likes overshadow the writing in general. Which is why I say don’t let people write the plot about their favourites. It doesn’t end good.
But even then, she did fangirl too hard over the Nightborne and basically made out that Zuldazar was saved because of the Nightborne. Talanji couldn’t seem to thank Thalyssra enough.
Even as a Nightborne fan, that was so glaringly obvious.
I know.
Same with the Night Elf Priest if I recall, but that’s by the by.
I’m sure you or I could self insert our characters into our own fanfiction (as I have done with my Belf Warlock, Belf Demon Huntress and Nelf Mage), but it is fanfiction.
Canon WoW books should keep all player characters out - even the developers’ characters.
The absolute state of mind it takes to place Baine at the top of the list of characters you like most in this franchise.
Forgive them, they know not what they do.
It’s probably easy for her, considering Jaina and Anduin are the other two favorites of her’s.
The three of them combined, they are a perfect package deal.
You do realise she one of the reasons he turned out the way he did though, don’t you?
She wrote him that way in the Shattering.
And Blizzard’s dev team cut him out of the actual game, when he could’ve made an awesome entrance as a racial leader, succeeding Cairne.
What a total blunder, hey blunderhoof
